Sasha lay out contentedly on a rock near the pond, she was new around, and was a little lonely from having no one to spend time with. She wanted to play, jump, run, anything as long as she could make a friend. Alone time was great, but not all the time. She raised her head, and streached softly, her lightly colored forpaws gripping the rocks edge for but a second before she settled down again. Her blue face was turned up to the sun, and her green eyes closed against its brightness.
But she still felt the warmth, and she smiled but suddenly she felt something touching her nose. She oppened her eyes to a butterfly, and laughed loudly the sound tinkling in the air. The rush of air startled the butterfly in to flight, and she was soon in playful pursuit, her form twisting in the air, only to land empty pawed.

Takumi was annoyed as usual. After realizing, with a little help, that he was male, he found life to be a little less pleasing. He wore a frown a lot of the time. He hadn't seen his old time friend in a while, she probably thought him stupid for thinking he was female when he was younger.
He didn't even want to think about running into his brother again. Oh, how he dreaded that meeting. Seeing how he'll tell him he was right all along. He didn't want to admit that Thonas was right. He wasn't even really paying attention to where he was going. Except that for some odd reason, there was a loud noise close by. Laughter... Of joy. He snorted at the sound.
Curiosity filled him, not sure why, but he had an urge to see what was so joyful. He twitched as he started towards the sound. His Peridot eyes scanned the ground for any type of Ulaya, or other creatures in the area. His eyes fell upon a female. Dark blue and tan. It had been a while since he ran into a female. The last experience wasn't very pleasant. The female was too much like his father. Every aspect, but she had just a tiny bit more power. Not in strength. No, it was something else. Her being a female. Her flicked his bobbed tail and glared at the female before him.
All females were the same. Manipulative creatures.

Sasha stopped jumping as she felt eyes on her, and the little butterfly got its relief, and flew away forgotten. She blinked, and turned around until she saw him. A spotted grey pale, with pink tipped ear's, and peridot eyes angerly cast in her direction. She looked one way, and then the other. Was he really glaring at her with such hatred? What had she done? Probably a misunderstanding, she was sure she could clear it up in no time. But a peace offering never hurt..
She looked to her left, then her right before spotting a particularly shiny stones. She loved shiny stones, she collected them for her hobby and to her it seemed like the perfect thing. Nudging the stone until she could pit it up gently between her teeth, she then turned to him and walked over confidently in his direction her tail twitching with pent up excitement at meeting someone new.
When she reached only a few steps away from him, she placed the shiny grey and blue stone at his feet. Her bobbed tail wagged in a sense, as she sat down on her haunches, and looked up at him smiling. "Hello, my name is Sasha, its very nice to meet you!" Her voice was sweet, and cheerful ash she smiled at him. "I hope I didn't wander to close to your home or something, if I did, I am very sorry." She was serious, though her smile still shone brightly. "I hope you can forgive me."

Great. She saw him. How did she know he was there? He made no noise at all. It was that butterfly, he figured. He raised an eye brow as he watched her fiddle around. What was she doing. His glare gone for only a moment. He wasn't really angry at her. He wasn't really angry at anything, except for joy itself.
His family had taught him not to be joyful. His father a very cruel b*****d. Then his mother, a very stupid weak female who took the time in nothing more but crying. She was never there for them. Their father would yell at them, then go and smack their mother once or twice, then yell at her. It was a very messed up family. He didn't understand why his mother or father stayed together.
His siblings were a different matter all on their own. One of his brothers found that he needed to be a lady's man. Only because father told him it was good to take advantage of females, do with them as he wanted and then leave. It was something his father couldn't do with their mother. Then his other brother was so determined to be like their father. He even was named after him. He didn't know what was more pathetic, the fact he had almost the same name, or the fact he wanted to be like him. Takumi's sisters were a different matter. Only really getting to know one, she was the only nice one. Always there for him when he was little.
He looked down at the rock and then back up at her. "What am I suppose to do with a rock?" He asked in a very low, calm voice. There was no cruel voice. No harshness, or rudeness. Just a simple questions. She seemed nice.. Almost too nice. He didn't say anything after that, just stared into her forest green eyes.

Sasha looked up at him, then down at the stone. She seemed to study it for a moment, as if not one hundred percent sure herself. After a minute she lifted her face, her forest green eyes still smiling. "I collect them, but you can play with it, leave it, throw it in the lake, bury it. Anything you want really, it doesn't matter."
It was silly, she hadn't thought what he might do with the stone, but it was ok. It had gotten a conversation started, and she wasn't alone. Suddenly she remembered, and she smiled, "I have some berries, I was saving them for a snack, would you like some?"
Her face was animated, she was definitely not the kind of person to hide her feeling's easily. Her lighter front paws danced in front of her, first one then the other hitting the ground in gentle rhythms. She was definitely excited, though she didn't press him. Though not still like most, she did not press him for an answer, just sat there, looking deep into the peridot of his eyes."I like your spots," She said softly, randomly.

That was kind of odd. How was a rock any fun at all? Why would one collect something so useless? He didn't want to ask just in case it was to upset her. He flicked his tail back and forth. "Err... Thanks?" He said in a reply. He still hadn't said his name. He would in a moment, he wasn't going to be like his father, and not mention it at all.
"No thank you. Save them for that snack." He said to her. He wasn't about to eat food she got. If he wanted, he'd just get something some other time. There was plenty of berry trees about. He continued to study her. She seemed to be trying really hard. Perhaps not all females were bad. "I'm Takumi" He finally said. His mood wasn't so grumpy looking, yet he still didn't trust this female.

She watched him with interest, he didnt seem excited about the stone, but he had accepted it, that was a bonus, and he was staying and talking to her, another bonus so she found no reson not to be happy at this point in time. She smiled brighter at his thank's and softly answered, "Your welcome."
When he turned down the berries, she was a little sad, but understood, and shook the feeling off. He probably wasn't hungery, it was no big deal. When he said his name, her smile pritty much became raidiant. She bowed her head slightly, "It's nice to meet you Takumi."
She streached one leg as she stood up, then another. After each limb was streached, she did a tight exuberant circle, and turned to face him again. "Wanna go by the pond?" She tilted her head to the side after the sugestion, and then was quite again as if looking into herself. Before she added, "Or do you want to do something else?" She didn't want him to do anything he didnt want to do.

He still didn't understand the point of the rock, but he tried to get past thinking about it. He pawed at the rock as if he was interested in it to make her not upset if he just left it there. Perhaps, he could use it to throw at his brother. Though, how stupid would he look carrying a rock around in his mouth?
What was with this female, he'd been reading her face, or trying too, and her moods seemed to change so fast. "Nice to meet you too." He lied, though tried to make it convincing. He hoped she wouldn't catch any hint of it though. He raised an eye brow at her as she asked about a pond. He didn't know what to say or do. Now he was stuck here with her for a while.
Or as long as it could take for him to make up an excuse to leave. A good convincing one. Though, he couldn't think of one quite yet. "I don't care? If you want" He said in reply.

She watched him, he didnt seem to be the happiest guy, and it was causing her to second guess herself. She didnt like seeing people unhappy, and it always made her a little distant, because she would overthink trying to make them happy.
She just sort of nodded, her smile reduced to a half one when he said it was nice to meet her, though something about it seemed. She shook her heas, stop it, stop second guessing and make a friend. She turned to look at him, and then walked over to the pond, where she saw koi, and goldfish just below the surface.
She looked in, and the brightly colored fish again brought back her smile, she turned to look at him, and giggled. "Well what I want is only somewhat gonna happen, so im making the best of it." One minute she was there, the next their was a splash as she jumped up to her knese in the water. She pulled her feet from the sucking mud, only to do it again, as she wadded up and down the bank as she watched him.

He followed her stiffly towards the pond. He wasn't much fond of water, though he didn't hate it either. It was just one of those annoying things that didn't really bother too much. He watched her from the corner of his eye as well as trying to keep his attention on the fish in the pond, then to her as he heard a splash. He was confused, what was she doing? He looked at her with a rather shocked expression.
"You don't expect me to get in that, do you?" He asked her, trying not to be rude. It was more of a misunderstanding question, then anything. What was she going to do? He didn't like the looks of it, and he didn't feel like getting all wet. Especially when there was mud. One thing he truly hated was how it just clung to his silver fur. He use to be obsessed with how he looked, but that was before he realized he wasn't a female. He was truly lost about himself. He didn't know what to think anymore. His attention went from her to the water, as he watched the fish swim about.

Sasha turned to look at him, her forest green eyes blinking. "You dont like getting dirty huh? Or is it the wet." It didnt really matter, he wasnt going to play with her. She got out of the water, and shook, sending little dimond droplets into the air.
She walked over to him, and leaned down on her forepaws, though her but was sticking straight up in the air. "What do you want to do? You have to like to play something, everyone has something they like to do." She tinted her head, first one way, then the other smileing.

"Something like that." he said as he watched the mud from the bottom of the clearish water. Or use to be clear water, now all murky from the female moving in it. The only thing he really knew about himself was he hated mud. Though, he was trying to change that. Perhaps it was time to get over his girlish ways, and make himself more who he was. "But... I guess it's not so bad?"
He watched her get out and look as if she was going to pounce on him. Well, it seemed she wanted to play? He never really did play when he was younger. Nothing any of his siblings had in mind, or his friends. Mostly, they just wondered. He stood there for a moment, pondering on what actually to do. Sit there and continue to be like his father, or try to actually have a life with fun in it?
That wasn't a very hard choice, well not for him. He wasn't going to hurt anyone, (unless it be his own brother). He gave a little sigh before he actually got himself to do it. He pounced playfully at the other, not sure how fast she would move, or just let the pouncing continue.

Sasha saw the moment of decision, but the fact he wanted to play with her suprised her so much she didn't move in time. She felt the heavy paws, and laughed even as the ground rushed to meet her. As she hit the ground, she turned and the pair rolled a few feet. Her clear laugh danced in the air, and she looked up at him, her stub of a tail going a mile a minute. "That was great!! Bet you can't catch me again." Her forest colored eyes gleemed with excitement, as she wiggled under him.

He rolled off pretty fast. It felt great to play. Never really getting to when he was a kid, he didn't know why he was now. Though, she wanted to play, so it made him want to try something new. "Oh? You think I'm not fast enough?" He asked her with a smirk. It had been a while since he last smirked at someone. He pounced at her again, most likely not to get her since she was aware of what he was now doing.

Sasha was ready this time, and skirted to the side inches away from where he landed. She couldn't help but laugh, a sound that danced in the air, as she reveled in the new sparkle in his eyes. "Nope, I think those wonderful spots of yours, cant even touch me." She smiled, and dipped her head low, so her nose touched the ground, but her forest green eye's were on him.
"Care to prove me wrong?" Her voice was challanging, and she turned to dart away form him, though her head was turned, watching to make sure he would follow.
