Kyocho was no where in site. Most likely working on some kind of research project in his office. Although Opuntia was starting to get fed up with the constant waiting around and doing nothing while his guardian Kyo slaved away at his mind numbing research.
The cactus boy had snuck out of the confines of the over grown office space and darted off towards the green house. At least in there, there would be something for the boy to do to occupy his time, and who knew who else would be there also.
Just shortly the boy had found his way to the green house. Opening the door he was instantly hit with the aroma of humidity. Along with the damp sweaty feeling as well. A nice and refreshing change of pace after all. Opuntia quickly made his way over towards the pile of plants at the back end of the green house and where more of the light was pouring in. A short sigh of a sigh escaped his lips as he breathed in the fresh air.

Aly, having successfully escaped the not-so watchful eye of Sodashi, had succeeded in climbing up onto a table and sat peacefully between a plant of basil leaves and another of peppermint leaves. Aly was happier when she was near green things. They smelled nice. They made her happy. She giggled and pulled a leaf off of the peppermint plant rubbing it between her fingers.
As the greenhouse door opened Aly’s tinkling laugh abruptly stopped and she immediately crouched between her plants making herself small. Sodashi didn’t notice her when she was small.
Green? Green skin? Aly liked green. That was funny. She’d never seen a green person before. She watched as the green person scurried past her, eyeing him curiously. And he had white hair too. But not as pretty as her white. Aly leaned forward for a better view of the green boy.
And with a sudden crash, her peppermint plant was on the floor, the pot shattered into quite a number of pieces.
.. uhoh.

Opunita threw himself into a stopping motion. The boy almost feel face forward from the force as he jumped in fear. Slowly he turned around and eyed the broken plant on the floor and saw a pot of Peppermint, which is one of Kyo's most favorite plants.
Opunita's eyes then moved upward and toward the shelf the pot would have been sitting on. There low and behold a small orange like girl with long flowing beautiful white hair rested.
"What are you doing in here? Don't you think your a little to small to be alone?"

Aly pouted at the plant on the floor. It had gotten her found. Hide-and-seek was no fun if people were always telling you where you were. At least Sodashi wasn't around. Then it would have gotten her in trouble. Sodashi didn't like it when she made loud noises.
Aly looked down at the green person. She cocked her head, curious. It was saying something to her... but not in the annoyed/sarcastic tone Sodashi always talked to her in. It was a gentle tone. Not mad. That was good.
Aly pointed at the green person, the bell attached to her wrist tinkling lightly. "Gwean."

Opuntia cocked his head to the side, baffled. "Yes I'm green and you’re orange." The boy smiled. Kneeling down to clean up the mess she had made and picked up the remains of the plant, root ball and all.
"I hope we can still make this grow" Opuntia nodded. Standing back up, he quickly went for a new clay pot and threw the plant inside and began to scoop up what dirt he could salvage.
"Now we need to make sure your more careful, but I still don't know why your here alone. Where is your parent?"

She watched the boy clean up her mess. That was funny. Usually Sodashi always made Aly clean it up. Of course, being a baby, Sodashi always ended up cleaning anyway.
He was talking again, still gentle, but now questioning. When Sodashi used that voice, she was always asking her what she was doing. "Hiding."
The baby laughed again looking down at the boy, feeling big. She was always looking up at Sodashi. Aly stroked her hair thinking of Sodashi. Maybe she should find her. Her tummy was starting to gurgle anyway.
"Down." she commanded at the green boy. With Sodashi, the girl could always be found perched on Sodashi's shoulders. Having recently learned the words 'up' and 'down,' Aly used them freely, rewarded with full command of her travelling services. When she was down, and wanted to go somewhere, she commanded 'up.' And up she went. When she was up, and she wanted to get down, she commanded 'down.' And down she went. She was up high now, so it only made sense for her to use down to get down, right? "Down," she commanded again, wiggling on her shelf.

"Hiding? Hiding from what?" Opuntia pushed aside the repotted plant. A tinge of hope that it would survive. Then the girl said down... did she want to be put down on the floor? Opuntia stared down on the dirt covered floor. It wasn't a very suitable place for a baby, but if that’s what she wanted..
Opuntia wrapped his hands around the orange baby and gently lifted her up. Feeling the strain in his toddler weak arms. He carefully maneuvered her over away from the counter and other pots and carried her a little further way from the dirt and slowly sat her back down.

Aly heard that inquisitive tone again. Gosh he asked a lot of questions. Aly gave the boy a shrug. Usually that got Sodashi off her back.
Once on the floor Aly gave him a happy grin and sat contently on the floor for a few minutes, feeling the leftover dirt from the peppermint pot in her small hands. The little girl gurgled happily at the green boy and flung some dirt at him playfully. She gurgled again, but this time not from her mouth. Aly looked down at her tummy, frowning. "Gurgle gurgle. Tummygurgle."
