 Angani was meandering back to the location of his king and the remainders of their pride. Green swirled paws broke their way step by step through the equally green grass, and bright eyes sliced through the darkness, not quite sure what to expect, but the large lion wasn't concerned at all. Angani randomly decided to sit, staring up at the stars over his head, and the moon... It was the same one that there was when he was born, or so he had been told. The male smiled and flicked his tail happily, glad to take a break. "Nothing like the simple things," Ang said cheerily to himself as he continued to stare at the silvery moon.

He had left Alula's side for a moment, only to collect his thoughts. As the time passed he spent with her, the more he felt their friendship grow. It was very comfortable to be near her, to be close to her. Kru was starting to feel like he could find her as a possible love, but was his heart's goal this easy? To find his true love out here? He had been on this journey for many moons and just recently ran into this female. His travelling partner had returned to the jungle he had longed for, but he was still here with this female cheetah. He could not leave her, she promised she would not leave him. He cannot get her to break her promise to him. He didn't want her too...
His paws carried him a good distance from her where he stopped to think. His body stood out clearly during the day, but during the night, only his sky blue marks could be seen.

Ang's view was abruptly interupted by a most bizzare sight, even his night vision couldn't see what it really was. What a strange conglomeration of... light blue stripes. He could make out a shape, but it had no... well, half of it was missing. With a puzzled look, Ang pondered what on earth it could be? He rose to his paws and padded over loudly, not wanting to surprise... whatever it was.
"Oy! Someone there?" He asked as he approached, making his presence more obvious. His tone was far more curious than it was threatening, but he'd be able to hold his own if whatever it was was violent... He really preferred not to have to do that, though.

Kru's head jerked over to see what looked to be a walking vine! He knew those plants well being a jungle cat. Never thought one could walk. Oddly, it had eyes! ... what was more strange, it had legs... and a tail... and a head? Oh my! It was a lion! He laughed to himself as he replied,
"I am here, Kru is the name I go by. Who may you be wandering out here?" He called back, his voice full of life and joy now that he might ahve found them.

Ah, that was more like it. As he got closer, more and more he could see a feline form with those mysterious stripes marking it. He was quite relieved to find the leopard was friendly. Angani padded a tad closer so that he could speak at a normal voice level before sitting down again. He'd never seen a creature so oddly colored... of course, who was he to talk? He didn't mind, he thought Kru's light blue face marks were cool too. "My name's Angani, Ang for short. Nice to meet you, Kru." he dipped his head cordially. "I'm just wandering back home for the night," he explained before shaking some mane out of his face, awaiting a response from the leopard.
