Well, this is a toughie! I thought that if I read the verses 13-15 in context I could fine the answer. But really, there is nothing that I could think of that could answer your question except for the thing tha I almost wrote iin my last response. First let me put out the verse
~Matther 19:13-15
13Then some children brought to Him so that He might lay His hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them. 14But Jesus said, "Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." 15After laying His hands on them, He departed from there.
I think that the answer to your question lies in the culture way back in Jesus' time. Maybe the disciples thought that the kingdom of heaven was for men only. They didn't see themselves as children of God.
Another verse that comes to mind is the one that says something like, "For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle then it is for man to enter the gates of heaven."

that doesn't explain why the disciples rebuked the children, if anything, it is telling them not to do what they did in chapter 19

Yeah but it tells why children are important in God's kingdom too.
I read through the parts but nothing really says anything about the disciples.
Sorry.

He could of just prayed. Cause it's not like we can go find Jesus and ask him to do this and that. We have to pray.

EXACTLY! if he would pray it would show he had faith instead he went to Jesus becuase he didnt know what to do. remember God and everything will be cured in time

Yes. People say God dosen't answer their prayers. But he dose. He either says yes, no or wait. They just want to get the answer that they hope for. Sometimes that is not the case.

we humans always want God to perform a miracle so that we believe in him but we christians already know what he has done and we accept that
we always want Him to hurry and answer but that is not how God works

That's what my daddy said. He said he stop believing cause he felt God wasn't answering his prayers.
There was this speaker guy at my church last week. You know the cool miracles that God could do.
You know he could do cool miracles. He could walk on water. He could fly.
I mean wouldn't it be great to be able to do cool miracles. heal people and stuff that would be awesome. I want that power you know. Lol.
You have to be faithful to God. No matter what.
