Why did they beat up Jesus?

If you read through the gosples, The Pharasies thought Jesus to be a blasphemer and that he was a false profit. They also said that he broke the sabbath, which Jesus did. They also accused of Jesus that he cast out demons by works of the devil. The pharasies really had some beef against Jesus and it is because of them, that Jesus was beat. Actually, that is why they crussified him. Ponchas Pilot was the one that had Jesus beaten. I think that it was to please the crowd and because they thought the Jesus was a liar. I am not sure about that last part. Have you seen The Passion Of The Christ by Mel Gibson? If not, you should, you will definately get your answer there.

That's stupid though, cause didn't he do all those miracles infront of em.

Yeah, they did, but they were a corrupted bunch. They where the only ones that could read, so think, what would a bunch of corrupted people do if the where the only ones that could read. They would translate wrong. Think about all the money they could have gotten that way. Plus, they tried, with all their might to catch Jesus stumble and call him out on it. But that never happened. Jesus always tripped them up. They where fed up with him and they took it to drastic measures. Plus, I think that they were under the influence of the devil. Cause any God fearing Chrsitian could have seen that Jesus was Messiah, and many did.

They should of been worried.

Jesus says He always works.and Jesus is God so yeah...sorry to disagree this is my opinion and in the bible as well
