yeah that is so obvious, bu tthen how do you feel the connection. it's more than a realization. is it using energy to assimilate the object?
If everything is One Thing then you shouldn't have to feel a connection to it, as you're already connected to it and always have been. It's only a matter of realizing that there is not separation. You can try using energy to assimilate it, but I've found that trying to move things by sheer force of energy just doesn't work very well.
I have found that it works better if the object you're trying to influence is in your energy field though.
