Seriously though, looks like he's got a crazy scavenger hunt going, and has an alternative motive for wanting her thong. Something that would make him go all 'lyk omg!' and Cuddy all 'srsly, wtf dude?'.
Or, you know...they were reacting to something compleatly different. The 'Next Time, on House' people like to make everything look dramatic. I mean think about it, Cuddy makes that face like once every other episode.
Maybe he fainted because he's finally starting to feel the side-effects of sticking a knife into an electrical outlet that would realistically be plaguing any normal human being his age?
Who knows? If they bring up 97 Seconds again, That Scene can only come with it...
