(A private RP for Xanul and Bryna. <3)
"Uhhh?" Golden eyes blinked in confusion as Xanul tumbled out of the black portal. Wasn't he supposed to be near his dad's place? How come he ended up here anyway? Grumbling softly to himself, he stood up, surveying his surroundings. This didn't look like the Mountain.
He was still in the Realm. He cast a backward glance at the portal, which disappeared and sighed. He still had to work on his powers.

Another pair of golden eyes happened to be in the area when Xanul appeared, and the Silver Nobody they belonged to peered down curiously from where she floated. He looked familiar... and he had Nobody powers! Or, at least, she was pretty sure the shadow portal thing was a Nobody trait. Though actually... since she could teleport and float, she'd never really tried to see if she could do it. Huh.
She flipped upside down and drifted down so their faces would be pretty much at eye level. He was a cousin, right? One of the little ones. She couldn't help a brief scan of his thoughts to confirm it and find out what his name was again. Xanul. She'd seen him when he was liiiiittle. But not for a while now. Would he remember her? "Hiiiiiiiiiiiya!" Expectant pause, and then her habitual wiggling of her arms in the face of the person she was talking to. "Do you like my arm socks?"

Well, the portal seemed to be the only power he had inherited from Saix. Still, there was the full moon thing and Ayako still found it puzzling that he could only use his empath powers during that time.
Oh well. It wasn't easy being a child of a witch and a Berserker.
He blinked as the older kitsu appeared, trying to remember where he had seen her before. One of Uncle Xigbar's kids...Aha! "Cousin Bryna!" Dark tails wagged in delight.
"They're very nice." He assured her, inspecting the item. "Brother has black gloves though."

Bryn turned her nose up at the mention of gloves, which in this case was actually down, but whatever. "Armsocks are way more awesome than gloves." Especially her armsocks. "My brother has an eyepatch!"
She flipped upright and psuedo-flopped on the ground... a few inches above the ground. "So whacha doin, Xanul? Done anything interesting lately?"

Xanul shrugged. He wasn't one to judge, especially when it both concerned members of family. "Cooooll!" He said enthusiastically.
The teen gaped at Bryna's air stunts, then realising that it was rude to stare, grinned sheepishly. "Not much. Trying to practice my powers and magic." He waved his wand to show her. "Though I landed up in the wrong place. Stupid portal."

Now... Bryn hadn't tried to use a shadow portal. But she did teleport a lot, and while she couldn't cover anywhere near the distance that a shadow portal could, she had a vague idea of how such things functioned. "Well, what were you doing when you called up the portal?" Maybe she could help? That would be awesome.

The teen screwed up his face to think. "Uhhh, I usually think of the place I want to go? Then it appears." Then he shrugged, with a sheepish grin. "I guess I was distracted." Which explained why he ended up here instead.

Bryn nodded sagely. "Yup. That would do it. Just be more careful. If you get distracted and think about the wrong thing you could end up somewhere... bad." Shifty eyes. Then she grinned. "But hey! You ran into me, so it's not like it was a bad thing." Wink! "So wanna do something?"

He would have to keep that in mind. Focus on his destination the next time. "Somewhere bad?" He blinked. Xanul didn't seem to think that anywhere could be bad, usually he met kitsu that were quite friendly, really.

Bryna flopped on the ground while she thought. "I dunno, really. I was out looking for something to do. What were you gonna do?" Pause. "Oh, hey!" She sat up and peered not-quite-sidewise at him. "How much Nobody did you get?" Not that her queery made... entirely too much sense the way she stated it. She wanted to know how much of the Nobody traits Xanul had actually inherited, wondering if it was anything like her own abilities. And in some areas... disabilities.

"I was going to find daddy." Xanul replied, lying down on his back beside her. She wasn't going to go with him, was he? Somehow he doubted that Saix would be welcome towards one of Uncle Xigbar's kits...even though they were in the same Organization.
"Uhhh..." The teen blinked rather confusedly at her question. "Well...there's the portal thing, and then, there's the full moon thing." He glanced sideways at her. "You?" He did know about her floating powers, but he wondered if she had inherited others.

Bryna nodded. "Hmm I've heard he's grumpy. Grumpy people don't get along with me." She shrugged. No, Saix probably wouldn't like meeting one of Xigbar's kits. Especially her. Bryn had a way of annoying people who were prone to it even when she wasn't actually trying.
"Weeell I got the whole gravity/space warp thing. So I float and teleport. I've been doing that so long I never really thought about seeing if I could do the shadow portal. There's not much of anywhere I can't get into anyway." Especially with her lock picking skills. >> "Got some other powers from mom, like telepathy, but that's not from the Nobody side. Only other thing I can really name off the top of my head is the not being able to feel emotions most of the time." She gave Xanul a curious look. "What's the full moon thing?"

Xanul kept quiet for a while. He wanted to argue that Saix wasn't as bad as he seemed, he wasn't bad, well to him anyways, but if he did, maybe she would want to see him. So he shrugged and simply said nothing.
"Well, I did that accidentally once when I was a kit. I thought it was a pet." The teen grinned sheepishly, not wanting to mention that it was his other side that had pointed out quite bluntly that it was a portal. "Uh well..." He fiddled with his chain for a while. Bryna didn't have emotions. "See, it's like during the full moon, I can't feel emotions. But for some reason, I can sense others, which is empathy powers, from mom. Pretty strange, really." Tsh. Genetics.

Bryn might see Saix anyway. It sort of depended on if she was in the mood to intentionally annoy someone. She was Xigbar's child, after all.
Bryn tilted her head. "A pet portal? That would be awesome!" At least to her thinking. His explanation about the full moon made her quiet for a moment, but not long. "Well, least it only happens for a couple days? But yeah, that would be strange. I wonder sometimes what it'd be like to have Empathy like my bud Atae but I don't think I'd like it. Telepathy is much more useful for figuring out what's going on." Nod. "Though, I get emotions sometimes. I even got sad once! It was cool. And there's some things I usually get like, twinges for, at least, like family and stuff. And I can be curious, or confused, but I think that's more of a mental thing than an emotional thing. I dunno. But, like, most of the time when people get annoyed at me or something I just kinda have fun with it 'cause I really don't get why they're mad. Kinda hard to when I've never been annoyed or most... anything."

Well, if they did meet, Xanul wanted to be there to watch. He could do with some amusement, or well, jumping to his dad's defense if there was a need to.
"Quite." He grinned, remembering a night escapade he and his brother went on, both determined to find where Bob had went. Of course, that search had turned out futile, but still it was fun! "Your friend as empathy powers too?" He wiggled in surprise. The only other people he knew that had the powers were his mother and grandmother. He wasn't quite sure about his other family members. "It's weird huh? Not having emotions." He remembered bits and pieces of his time during the full moon and shuddered.
