This is a thread for Poems about Seasons/Holidays. Here is one I wrote for Halloween.
A Wicked Fun Halloween
The sky is dark, the ghosts go boo. I smell something, like witches' brew. I bob for apples, with my friends Time so sweet I wish it wouldn't end. Now it's time to trick or treat And get some candy, Oh so sweet. As we wander On our way back home, We watch the other kids Running Around. With our buckets full We start to eat, our delicious candy sweets. We finish up And glance outside. We see a witch fly across the sky. The witchy shadow Freaks us out But, That's what halloween's about.

I like it, it's a very fun poem, good for Halloween! -Here's one I wrote last year, it's for halloween too. It's not quite as fun, but someone might like it
Evil Awakening (revised)
On that tormented darkened night Upon that horrid time to spite The Evil One did wake in his castle set in stone And beckoned to the pure from his hollowed evil throne To devour all their light with his blackened hateful soul And release unto the world a being of anguish, with nothing whole So that it could ravage all the Earth with it's fear and suffering As the demons moaned their chorus for that evil age of entering And the dissonance of harmony crossed the darkness with the rage To set loose all hell and turn humanities final page Thus an evil did burn forth beyond all righteous recollection We beheld a rebirth unholy, Dracula’s resurrection!
