He is a great and intimidating player, and would have still been very good without steroids. But after he even admitted to using them, he is still endorsed by Gatorade, ESPN, NFL, Under Armor, Sports Illustrated, and other labels (quite a lot). I don't get it. sweatdrop

What's up with "you people," because I'm dealing with one right now, who can't read what both of us said. ...I said he was a good player. ...I also said he took performance-enhancing drugs. You actually said he took them, and that he even admitted it, and at the end of what you were saying you said he didn't even take any. ...Also, yea, they're not illegal. People with health problems and slow growth use perscription steroids all the time, and they are not illegal by law standards. But they are illegal in the NFL. He failed a test and admitted to using them. Um. Why was he banned 4 games, if you say what he took was not illegal? Did the Comish spin a wheel and it magically land on "4 game suspension" ? Oh, and Your Welcome

Actually, to me, the 4 game suspension was quite random, because he took the test during the off season, but in the middle of the playing season, he was suspended. So for all I know, they did spin a wheel, so ya. So, don't accuse me of not reading. So you are one of "you people" as you said who are into the whole "Merriman on Steroids" thing. So, lets drop it. He was still the leader in sacks for the entire season, even missing 4 games. What does that tell you? It tells me that he's the best defensive player I have seen. So drop the drugs subject.

Best Defensive player you've seen? sweatdrop that pushing it? Or do you just watch the Chargers? ...Also, it wasn't so random for the suspension to happen in the middle of the season. It takes time to process the data and facts from the drug test. Then they need to check in with the commissioner, team, and NFL players association to see if it was a fair test. Then they have to agree on a suitable suspension. Kind of like what's happening to Travis Henry at the beginning of the season up until now, with the marijuana case. But anyways, my main question was "why is he still endorsed so much, if he used a banned substance and was suspended?"
