Good work on the Guild, Tourniquetsmile!
Heh, personally, I think Nirvana's 'Come as you are' is really good. I like the contradictions in the Lyrics - "Take your time, Hurry up...".
I also think it's a shame that Kurt Cobain died - He was really good, and could have released even more good songs.

Thank you so much! I've birthed it from the ashes of my failed guild! blaugh
Anyway,
I like Come As You Are, too. I learned how to play it on my guitar. biggrin I also like Polly [for some twisted reason] and The Man Who Sold The World
The latter song made me believe that he didn't kill himself. What are everyone's thoughts on his "suicide"? Yay or nay?

Some people believe that his death wasn't by suicide, but by Murder, instead.
"On April 8th 1994 Kurt Cobain, the lead singer of Nirvana, was found dead in his Seattle home of an apparent shotgun wound to the head and with three times the lethal amount of heroin in his system. A note lay at the scene. The verdict was suicide."
I'm not sure how anyone could stay alive long enough to have THREE times the lethal amount of anything, and then to be able to Shoot themselves, confused

Have you ever seen his death note? The only part even dealing with suicide is in a different handwriting. :/

The only thing I've read about about the note, is that Kurt's wife, Courtney, had a copy of it...
I didn't know about the handwriting... Heh, I'd have loved to have been a Crime Scene Investigator for that case, biggrin .

Too bad it was more than a decade ago... its sad that they didn't put any effort into it because he was a heroin abuser. :[ Heres a link to the suicide note. hi :]

I remember my first Nirvana song, "Smells like Teen Spirit" and "Heart Shaped Box", which is still one of my favorite songs...
I was too young at the time to know very much about them, but hopefully here i will learn some things =3

Czarinas Knife ... I was too young at the time to know very much about them... As was I, and then, I didn't care much for music.
Eventually, I heard 'Sliver', and I liked it. Short, but undeniably good. After that, I heard 'Lithium'... That was the main event from which I learned about Nirvana, biggrin .

I love Nirvana! But, are they still making music? Or did they stop after Kurt passed away? I love Nirvana with Kurt. He was such a good musician. I just got more into their music. I even wrote Kurt's name on my shoe. XD No-one says anything, I just loved Kurt. He was hot, too. ^^

Czarinas Knife, 'Dave Grohl' is also the Drummer for Queens of the Stone Age. It's not unusual for people to be in different bands, but I'm not sure what Krist Novoselic has done since Kurt's death.
"... idiot... didn't like Nirvana ... hadn't come out with anything in a while" That is the worst excuse for disliking a band, for disliking anything, that I have read.
