This thread is a journal for Zypher Evans only, don't post here unless they state otherwise. Growth points: 10/65 News: Oct. 25, 05- GP Updated Aug. 28, 05- Zypher's dracling appeared! Aug. 13, 05- This journal was opened and Zypher recieved the goblet. **Just a little something to get you started. What you write in this journal is up to you, though it should involve you rping that you're interacting with your dragon. First though, you have to get your dragon. Write a little story/description of a dream you've had or just one you've made up. I'll read this and use it to design your dragon. Please, don't say anything about the dragon itself, just the dream. Once I post in here with your dragon, you're free to keep posting whatever you want. About:Those fangs aren't just for show. This little dracling has a visciously poisonous bite. His colors are loosly based of his dream, 'cause I was feeling rather creative when I made him. Black for the man's shorts, brown for his skin, blue for the mentions of water/storms... and red, of course, especially his red eyes. The patterning is just a random thing. This dracling can stand very high temperatures, and his skin is very tough, almost leathery. He isn't fond of water, as his bones are quite dense, making him heavier than he looks.

*Resting on her favorite chair her eyes dark and dreary she closes them, breathing slow and steady, arms folded gently on her chest. With a yawn her eyes close, the green fading out before they shut. Within no time she begins to dream, a dream that would forever alter her existance in this world.*
~The dream~
Laying out on a full sunny day, not a cloud in the sky with a little red radio by her feet she stretches out. A man, tall with flaming red eyes approaches her as she bathes in the glory of the sun, smirking. He had hair waist length, fiercer than his eyes almost as if they were a light by fire. It coiled around his muscular abdomen from the gentle breeze in the air. He stood before her, knealing down, wearing little more than a pair of silky black shorts. Holding in his hands was a glass, a goblet of sorts. He offered the strange glass to her, the glass appeared to hold little more than water. Taking the goblet into her hands after sitting up she thanks the stranger and takes a drink of the substance, it was thicker then water and went down her throat like silk. She handed to him the empty glass once she had finished and lay back onto the white sand. Closing her eyes the man stood, his smirk from ear to ear as he left her there. The radio once dormant suddenly turned on and a soft hissing sound could be herd before it broke into a new cast.
"With a change in the weather it seems like today there is only going to be rain with a heavy chance of thunderstorms. A hurricane is headed towards the coast..."
The radio clicked off, the rest of the message was cut off. Zy opened her eyes to find the entire place was now clouded over with extreme high winds as cold as ice. Shivering she grabbed a towel and wrapped it around herself, running towards the nearest hut. She opened the door coming face to face with a pair of glowing red eyes and then the scene fades out.
~end dream.~
*Waking from her rest she shivered, her skin felt as cold as ice and her entire body was soaked not by sweat but by rain and yet she was sitting there in front of a fire, in her favorite chair wondering wht happened and why her dream was so realistic. She felt as if she was being watched.*

(OOC: Oh sexy draggie Lindwyrm thingy <33 )
*Grogily she rose from a table and her eyes opened one by one until the fuzz fazed away. Blinking she gave a yawn, stretching her aching body. Resting back into her earlier position she some what lazed at the table before realizing she was sitting at the table and blinked. Her eyes darted from side to side until she saw the knocked over goblet and a pair of deep red eyes gazing into hers. In shock she repled her body backwards so much so that it caused the chair to topple, taking her with it, crashing to the floor in a rumpled heap.*
What the?? ARG!
*Rolling off to the side and away from the overly dangerous piece of furniture which was antiquated enough on it's own she sat then brushed her self up befor eknealing to see what exactly was on the table. She blinked a few times before actually focousing on the creature, it was a gorgeous thing with a pair of haunking teeth haging out of it's mouth, gringing at her rather humerous display of unortodoxed aerobatics.*
Wha?? Ohh it's... a dragon? No no.. it's too small perhaps a different breed.. Hmm this I must find out... Very interesting.
*The dracling quirked it's head to the side, looking childishly stil at her before his eyes glowed faintly and rushed towards her, hopped onto her head then bounded off onto a chair that appeared to be rather cozy for even the toughest of creatures. It clawed the chair fora bit circled like a cat then flopped down watching her with his beady red eyes, paws crossed and tail waving back and forth.*
(Err more later.. just not right now)

((just a note, and I'll delete this later once you've seen it. Draclings are roughly the size of a medium dog, say a smallish golden retiever. Also, Lindwyrms tend to drag their bellys on the ground, using their forefeet to pull them along, or to slither like a snake, using those legs more like arms. Combined with his heavy bones, your dracling would have a hard time leaping onto your head, and even if he did, it would be very painful for you. No need to edit anything, just keep it in mind for the future ^_^))

*the pain from having her head jumped on was excrutiating, a small whimper came from her lips, her eyes clenched shut and gripping the sides to the chair so much that her hands had turned a ghastly white. When she was able to move her hands from their clentched position she moved them to her head, holding it as if to make it stop ringing from the pain. After a whil she stopped seeing stars and looked over at the dracling as it slithered around, dragging it's stomach arcoss the floor, claws diging into the floor taking chunks of the hard wood out. The dracling had obviously abandoned the chair that it had landed on. It was not apparent what this creature wanted as Zypher did her best to examine him. She could tell it was a male by the way it moved, smelled, and the shape of the eyes within. There was always something about the eyes that told her the gender of the creature. The aura from the creature was not disimilar to her own, this was how she knew she would work well with him, despite his troublesome nature.*

*Rising from the chair she stood tall despite her short height. She was only five foot, two inches, and she always claimed that she wasn't short, simply space-efficent. This was true because due to her slender body she could go any where and do just about anything that normal people could not to. Reaching up with a hand she brushed back her hair and walked towards the fire as if to ignore the dracling. Kneeling down she placed her left hand into the fire and removed a small chunk of embered wood and crushed it in her hands, resorting it to little more than ash. Heaving a sigh she closed her green eyes and invisioned those dancing flames beneath her eye lids. Zypher had not had much sleep as of late and they burned with her weariness. Shifting from her kneeling position to one that made her sit, she crossed her legs and tossed the ashes back into the fire place which made the orange, yellow-y, reddish light to leap up for a moment then settle back down. Looking over her right shoulder at the dracling, a very tiny smile on her exhausted facade.*
"Come hither young one, I shan't hurt thee and I shall treat thee well if thine co-operate with us."
*Why was she speaking in old tounge? This was a mystery to herself but she beckoned the creature forward. It understood her words not but it understood her body language. All he knew was to go forward, but was it safe for him and would he chance the risk of being hurt by this strange being who had called him into existance? He did risk it yes, slithered forward he did but stayed back out of arms reach just in case.*
