Everythings perfect, everythings perfect, we must make sure everythings perfect Crow thought to himself, as he bustled about the picnic site. It was nestled at the willow tree, that grew by the pond. He'd tied some of the whispy trails back, creating a parted curtain overlooking the pond. There was a blanket set out, with a wicker basked of fruits and mixed foods. He'd picked flowers, and set them down for her.

He wanted to make sure things went off perfectly, this was for Valefor after all.

Crow, heard the melodious voice, that sent his heart a flutter. He peaked his head out, from behind the tree and grinned at Valefor. "Over here, " he said with a chuckle, coming out from around the tree, tails wagging in content. "I've missed you" he said nuzzling her in greeting.

Crow chuckled, and beamed like a kid who just made a present for their parent. He licked her ear "Close your eyes luv, its a suprise" he smirked crookidly again, head going side to side. He couldnt wait to show her the picnic for two.

Crow padded along softly, leading her towards the tree, and the awaiting picnic. With his free wing, he parted the curtain and led her to the edge of the blanket, so when she opened her eyes she'd see the blanket and food, and the curtained view of the pond and sun. He purred softly, nuzzling her softly "You can open them..." he said lightly, suddenly nervous of his surprise, what if she didnt like it? What if she was...anti picnic.

He smiled genuinely, and purred softly, glad that she liked it. His tails wagged softly, and he leaned into the nuzzling. "I was afraid you wouldnt like it" he said a bit sheepishly, pawing at the ground like a nervious horse, but then he brightened up, and grabbed the bunch of flowers and handed them to her "These are for you" he said with a nod. "After the picnic, we can take a walk along the lake, as the sun sets. Watch the stars reflect off the surface of the water". He'd put alot of thought into this night. He wanted to do something special for Valefor, because she'd done so much for him.

He smiled softly, he wrapped a wing around her, as she leaned against him. Crow was almost certain she could hear his heart beating. He felt so exposed, the last time he'd dared to feel this...something bad happened. His ears sagged, for a brief moment he mourned, for memories he vaugly remembered. But then, his golden eyes fell upon the beautiful female with him, and he smiled again, all sadness gone from his features, and for the first time in a lifetime, from his heart.

He led her to the blanket and rummaged through the basket of assorted foods. "I wasnt sure exactly what kind of foods you liked. So we've got various fruits, with whipped cream and some fondue chocolate that my human packed." he chuckled lightly "There's some chicken, and a couple desserts. Oh! plus a pasta, lasagna i believe" He said with a light chuckle "Like i said, i wasnt sure" he grinned.

Crow's eyes went wide briefly, before chuckling and wrapping a wing around her, purring gently. "Something, not previously listed?" he asked with a widening grin. He loved how her beautiful mind worked. Providing it was going the same direction his was. If not. talk about embarassing. He glanced over at her mask, randomly, he wondered how many others had seen her without it. He shook his head lightly, this wasnt the place for random thoughts.

Crow nodded his head, a smile on his maw as he watched Valefor nibble on the fruit. His golden eyes sparkled. He felt so...alive when he was around Valefor. He didnt feel haunted by nightmares of his Before. He felt...happy, free. Padding over to her, he nuzzled her cheek. This didnt seem real to him, he was afraid he'd wake up one day, and this would just be a dream. Shaking his head, he forced those thoughts from his mind. He wanted to live out his life, with her.
