I found one at the Fry's store in Washington for like $60 I think, they are hard to find now because of the new slim PS2. I looked online first and couldn't really find one, not even on EBay for a reasonable price.

And yes I live in Washington, so that's how I got it, but you might be able to call them and have them ship one to you, I dunno. I heard that they have a whole bunch.

Then again I forgot, do you need the HDD too?

I remember spending over $200 when getting it for my ps2. I spent $149.99 (That was with taxes included) for the game and the HDD for the system. Then the network adapter had to be bought separate so I paid about $70 for that with taxes, and I also bought a keyboard too which was only $15, and luckily I had an extra ethernet cord to plug into my ps2 since I have a router and can be on the internet on my computer and play FFXI.

If you can, it's cheaper to get the game on your pc. All you have to do is buy the game which you could probably get for about $50 or $60, and then pay the monthly fee after the first month free. I live in Canada so I'll get charged an American montly fee which sucks so I have to pay a little extra than $12.95 a month.

well i can buy the game for computer for $25, but it's the part I have dial up, and my computer would lag greatly, my friend said PS2 would be better to go then, i already have a reyboard and even a mouse that will work for the ps2 but i need to know which of these two is more worth it....

hmmm, well, you can find FFXI for Computer for $20 on walmart.com or at many other game stores, PS2 on the other matter is not made anymore, you have to find it on websites but if you lucky you might find it in a store if it wasen't recalled.

I wouldn't be able to afford the monthly fee.
