I'm gonna put different kinds of annoucements in this thread. They might not always be very important, but sometimes they could be.

Announcement by Luck-in-Spades:
Hey all! Just a little announcement. Its time for some spring cleaning, again!

That's right. Very shortly, I will clean out a MASS of threads that are a month or older. For now, these threads will be stored in the "Trash Bin" subforum that are going to be deleted. After the delete date, they will be GONE FOR GOOD. So, what you need to do is SAVE any threads you find memorable. As in, copy and paste them into a word file. Please don't bump old threads in order to attempt to keep them around. New threads asking old questions will also be deleted, as well as a bunch of "Hi Im new here" threads. Save what you wish to your own computer. One week should be plenty of warning time =)

Major threads like instructional and help threads WILL remain intact, despite their antiquity. Especially the ones linked in the "Insert Long Complex Name Here" link thread that we have stickied. Any suggestions on threads to add? Submit them to THAT thread (not here) and we'll look them over to see if we want to add them to the thread.

Thanks for taking the time to read this message. I am Luck-in-Spades, new Vice Captain of The Coven guild here on Gaia. In efforts to get some activity going, I have made this newsletter to give you some updates on what is going on in the guild and encourage you to come on by.

Announcements and Updates
We are working to organize the guild! Around a week after all of these messages are sent out, we will be having some spring cleaning. All of the threads that have been moved into the Trash Bin subforum will be deleted. If you want to see any of the threads stick around, please plea your case in the announcement thread for that!

Did you know we have over 500 members? That's amazing. We really need to get people back in here so this guild can thrive again. However, we have a lot of users who haven't even posted once. So we ask that you stop on by and at least introduce yourself, or even just post "I am lurking" in the Intro thread, as we will be doing a user pruning in about a month's time.

We will be adding a "Previously Asked Questions" thread, where hopefully significant questions that have been beaten to death will be put and answered. That way if you have any questions that you think may be answered already can be easily checked with a simple click and browse! Furthermore, we will link to the best threads that answered these questions, which are carefully saved in the Preservation Bin.

Survey
In the guild I have posted a survey. Please take your time to answer the questions, so we can improve the guild even more! Your input is helpful and greatly encouraged. Please take the survey here!

Subforums!
Right now, we have created a few small subforums, including a Trash Bin, Preservation bin, and Lessons. In the survey, we are asking what kind of subforums you might be interested in seeing, so please come on in! Here's what the current subforums are all about:
~Trash Bin - Here's where old threads go before they are deleted. Threads that are against guild rules will be locked and thrown in there until cleaning time comes around.
~Preservation Bin - Here's where we will keep some threads that were thought of as useful, significant, and otherwise worthy of keeping.
~Lessons - Guild members can give lessons related to Paganism, Wicca, Witchcraft, and other similar things. To make sure this stays as accurate as possible, there will be an application process to get threads put up.

Contest!
In order to help pump some life in this guild, we are offering a contest! It is a questionnaire/scavenger hunt! The grand prize will be 10k in pure gold. Please see the guild for the contest. There is an entry fee of 100g to help furnish the following places. Please see HERE for details and contest.

Well, our friend Jin is off to meet his girlfriend. ^-^ He'll be back in a few days I believe.

lol you read my mind I was going to talk to you about that when you got on... I was going to say we have 18 people we should try to cut it off at 20. I still don't know where Ryutaka is... maybe he has joined and I just missed his name or something... I am worried about him. I have not talked to him in a week.. sad and I know he wanted to join, but yeah I will pm you or talk to you on AIM before allowing people to join.

August 17th-

Sorry to report, I'm gonna be busy in the real world again for a while becuase of 3 factors. 1) I have a DDR contest I'm hosting friday ((that I'm not ready for sweatdrop )) 2)School's starting up again. and 3) My cous's back. crying Help me. I already want to kill her. xp I won't, but I don't want her to be near me, or like related to me, or like on the same continent. stare Okay, I'll shut up now, cause otherwise she's gonna come back to reading everything i'm typing and get all offended and make my mom hate me more.

August 21 ((urg, sorta. xd ))-
Just finished "letting go" the inactive members and allowing in the new ones. ^-^ We jsut got 4 new members, welcome them! xd

I'm really sorry for the inconvienience, but with school I haven't had enough time to keep up with Gaia, so I am deleting all my messages. sweatdrop I was keeping the ones sent to me by people that wanted to join, but untill I have more time, my inbox is getting too full, so I'm gonna wipe it, please try to pm the other active members instead, I try to check Gaia, but not nearly enough. sweatdrop Sorry!
