Welcome to the Deep Space 12 Drydock

Welcome to Deep Space 12 and the Deep Space 12 Drydock.

Here you will find the entire collection of ships for all three governments, as well as their parts and upgrades. Each thread will list the cost, and basic specifications for each of the ships that are available for purchase, as well as any restrictions that may be placed on them for Independent players. Each ship will be broken down into categories as follows...

Ship Statistics
Cost: (Cost of the ship in credits)
Ship Class: (The class of ship being purchased)

Notes
(This section will include any things that should be noted about this ship that may be different than other ships and unique to this ship. This section is ALWAYS a good idea to look at.)

These values will change depending on whatever ship you may be intent on buying. Each and every user is required to post their ship's information in the "Deep Space 12 Ship Registry" thread along with their character's personal information. This information should be updated as often as possible when new information is added. This is to promote fairness, and also to help weed out cheating in ship to ship engagements. A more detailed description of what is required for ship registration is included in the thread.

Initial Starting Credits

Each Government starts off with different amounts of starting money depending on which Government you choose to support you in the New Frontier. So, choose carefully...

Federation - 50,000 Credits

Klingon - 40,000 Credits

Romulan - 40,000 Credits

Independent - 30,000 Credits

Insurance

It is important to note that in the event that your ship is destroyed, you will be refunded 75% of the ship's total worth including cost of upgrades for that ship, as well as parts. While destruction of another person's ship is not smiled upon, it is allowed if both parties agree to it while in combat, or if the event or mission that the ship is on allows said ship to be destroyed. This will be outlined in the Mission Parameters. It should be noted, however, if you blow your ship up to prevent it from being stolen by another party, you won't be getting a refund. Retreat is always an option.

Cargo

All ships can hold Cargo. A ship's Cargo hold is determined by the cost of the ship. A ship thats #1 on the list as the cheapest can carry 100 Tons of cargo. A ship thats #2 on the list can hold 200 tons of cargo and so on. The ships that are number 10 on the list can hold 1,000 Tons of cargo.
