im gonna be in the nutcracker this year.
i got cast as soldier. originally i was cast in all 4 performances (supposedly because of my height), and now i'm only doing 2... because another girl thats cast as soldier is also apprentice to snow, so she gets the right to have all 4 of performances. (even though there are 3 other snow apprentices doing soldier and they only get 2 performances), and her part has nothing to do with mine.
i'm guessing all of a sudden the director had a change of heart and greatly dislikes me now. to the point of being willing to pay for completely separate costumes for me and the other girl that's now playing my soldier.

sorry, this just happened today so im really upset about it.
anyway, our costumes look like little tin soldier outfits, and we glue little red felt pieces on our cheeks so we look more "toy" like. we also dance with toy riffles. the boys get to use wooden swords.

We do the Nutcracker every other year...so no Christmas preformance this year. But instead were doing Cinderella near spring time! I'm going to be a Midnight Star smile

yeah...I'm in my ballet company's nutcracker. I'm snow and dew drop. I think dew drop in my company is basically what everyone else calls marzipan? Anyways it means I'm the lead dancer in the waltz. Our beautiful snow costumes have full length white tutus, white bodices outlined in lace, and we wear these awesome headpieces we made a few years back that are all white with glitter and flowers and fake ice cubes hanging on some wire.

As tears pour down she remembers the good

and swears to remember him till the day she dies

I wish my studio did Christmas performances, we never have though. It's sad!

Well, it's a bit late for this, but my studio did the Nutcracker ^^ We only had one performance and I was:
Snow
Waltz
Chinese
Yeah, it's not much, but I'm happy with it. I think it's good enough for now.
