Background: Galdor lived in a small elven village, his parents didn’t have much money but could still get by and afford a few luxuries. Galdor’s parents-Beriadan and Nostariel Eledhwen-had three children Galdor the eldest, Alatariel, the only girl and Angrod the youngest. Galdor is 3 years older than Alatariel and 5 years older than Angrod. At a very young age Galdor showed a great talent for sword fighting, as well as using other weapons. But Galdor very reckless and he cause havoc among the elves. Pelting people with a sling he made and challenging other young elves to duels with the twin wooden swords he had carved. Beriadan and Nostariel recognized Galdor’s potential as a great fighter, and asked the weapon master and army commander of the village to train him. The weapon master, Daugion, knew Beriadan from the Great War and knew his reputation in the army. Daugion as the village’s weapon master was to train the village leader’s son, as a sign of respect. But Daugion also saw Galdor’s fighting potential and agreed to train him but for a great price. Galdor’s training cost his family and devastating amount of money leaving them poor, barely making end meet. Galdor excelled in the use of swords and bows and showed talent for many other weapons Daugion gave him to practice with. Daugion showed him the ways of a ranger, but Galdor was headstrong, his judgment was poor. Galdor loved listening to Daugion talk, just tell him of his adventures. There was a strong bond between the two. Daugion was ready to give up on Galdor when an huge army of orcs struck the village. Galdor’s parents were slaughtered and his brother and sister were believed taken prisoner to be tortured**. Galdor and Daugion were the only survivors but Daugion was greatly injured. He lived for only a few more days. after telling Galdor a few life lessons and giving him his beautifully crafted longswords, longbow and a few other treasured possessions he died. Galdor lived for months in the ruined town grieving for his family and mentor. Finally he put himself together and took up the ways of the rangers. Then he left searching for a city , when he finally reached one he was hired as a sailor. He had been going from ship to ship or adventuring over land ever since, he was still learning many lessons though…Long, eh? It comes naturally.

Looks: He is a very muscular elf, even for a wood elf. His hair is around shoulder length but is pulled back which makes it look like his hair is fairly short. When you first look at him he looks like a young boy, but in his eyes you can see wisdom beyond his years. What you can see of his skin is very tanned and he holds himself high for a homeless adventurer. It appears as if he wears no armor, and has no shield. His hands usually rest on the hilts of his twin swords which he wears at his waist. He is ambidextrous and has a tattoo on his right arm. The tattoo is a green leaf with elven writing in it.
Personality: Galdor appears to be a silent, and doesn’t seem very happy. He really is joyous but hasn’t opened himself up to anyone. He tries to do what’s right but he gets very frustrated with laws that don’t let him be himself. He is very strong willed, he loves to learn but doesn’t always appreciate being taught. Where was your character born? : He was born in Lyndin, a primarily farming community. However his family moved to Oun while he was still young.

He's usually called Tiler Lethin, He works as a tiler of all things, and recieved this nickname from the Nobles in the area, being the few who could afford tile work. "Who did this, it's beautifully done. Oh it was that Tiler... Lethin. He does great work." while many don't actually know his real name, it seems good for business, so he never complains.

He really looked up to her until one day, 2-3 months after the incident mentioned below... Eira suddenly one day began to make small objects move, things change color, create minor gusts of wind... especially annoying was that she seemed to be able to produce a near constant ability to shock him when she'd try and poke him. Not more than a month after these things began to happen two representatives from a guild of mages arrived at their door, and spoke with his parents about his sister... His parents seemed to be eating out of their hands seconds into the talk. Within seemingly no time, it was decided. Eira would go with them to their guild hall, and perfect her newfound sprouting abilities... to this day he still doesn't know where she was taken, or how they found out about her abilities in the first place.

Since she's been gone, he's worn it always...
What is your character's favorite hobby?: Climbing i guess... ever since he was young, he's enjoyed climbing everything he possibly could, from rocks to hillsides to trees, etc...

How did he start adventuring? He hasn't really started... As far as adventuring, the most he's done is help guide a few caravans between towns and back...
Why he became a Fighter? Primarily self taught using his fathers old equipment from his days serving the militia.

The Glaive was his fathers, but for the most part, his gear is his own, purchased with money made acting as an apprentice to his father as well as the local Bowyer who was always happy to have an extra person to produce fletching while he worked on new bows... Doing this often earned him his own longbow in time as well.
Does he stay in contact with his family? Yes, in fact he is often in his home town, though escorts sometimes take him away for some time.

Personality: He's one who's happy to prove his worth if it's questioned, though he'll typically remain "under the radar" perceived only as the Tiler's boy not being one to show off.
