[Sorry bout the boring title. I was listening to Warrant.lol]
Naina smiled. Her day had been okay so far, even though it had just started. The sun was rising, letting the sky turn purple and orange. She lived closer to the Teepees now.. Because Amaroq had asked her to move closer, but she hadnt seen him in weeks, and was beginning to think that he had left her, or just not bothered to come see her. Either way, it had angered her, and broke her heart.
But the sky was just so pretty to be mad today. She couldnt even remember the last time she had seen teh sun rise.

She didn't often wander this far away from 'home'... Or, rather, she didn't often wander this close to the teepees. She had never been interested in making friends with those who walked on two-legs... Watching, from time to time, yes... But nothing more.
It was a beautiful morning... The sun was just starting to come up over the hills. Sunrise... Wasn't that when her mother had met Draven? At sunrise?

If sunrise was where Nos met Draven, then it was completely opposite for Jean and Nos, who had met at sunset.
Taking off from the Teepee trail, Naina decided she wasnt really into the whole two-legger thing today.. And she knew being there would hold her no gratitude.. As Amaroq would not come visit her today, like he had not visited her the days before. Her heart had broken so badly that night. The night she realized he would only come back when it suited him.
So huffing a bit, she shook out her mane, and walked aimlessly through the clearing. Hoping to take a whole new direction from the Natives.

She closed her eyes for a moment, feeling so sleepy... Yet she knew it wasn't time yet to rest. The night was not yet over and...
Her head turned slowly towards the sound of movement, eyes opening while her brow lofted. Familiar coloration emerged and a soft smile curved her lips. "... It seems to be a night for family... Or maybe, with the rise of sun, it is now day." She smiled. "Is it good morning or good evening for you, Naina?"

"Its been fairly good of both." She said smiling as she walked across her sister. She hadnt meant to run into her, but that didnt mean the Mare hadnt thought of maybe going to see her sister sometime. She smiled, flicking her ebony curls.
"A night for family, aye? I dont think that it is on my part. I've seen family the last time, around a week ago." She said, teasing, referring to the meeting with Trev.

"I met Father tonight... And you this morning... It seems like things are finding a way of falling together here and there." It was strange, of course, but it was a good feeling. It was nice to know that wherever she went there was someone there... "I'm not sure if I should be feeling tired or wide awake." She chuckled softly. "I think I'm somewhere in between."

Oh! Naina wondered how far Memory had walked since meeting up with father. Shai had said that he had been traveling for a few days, trying to tie up lose ends and then come back to her. So Naina hadnt gotten to meet with her father like she'd wished. "Oh really? Well ,Im glad to see the meeting went well! Well then indeed it is a family day for you."
Naina smiled, offering a nuzzle to her sister, whom she'd so missed.
"Though I imagine it is a little of both." She said, knowing the feeling. She wouldnt be awake for the sunset if she hadnt been traveling all night.
"So how are you, sister?"

She returned the light nuzzle with a smile, wings shimmering as she gave them a light flutter. "It did go well..." Far better than she would have thought it would have. "... It seems like it was the right time for it to happen. Things keep changing, don't they?"
She sighed softly as she glance up to the shifting colors of the morning sky before glancing back down at her sister. "... I'm doing well. How are you?"

"Things are changing so much. I think it has to do with all of us maturing, and trying to make something of ourselves."
She said, watching Memory's wings flutter. How joyously beautiful her sister was.
"I was fairing magnificently. Until Amaroq decided to stop coming to see me." She said, wanting to pout but keeping it firmly locked behind her eyes.

"... Amaroq?" Her brow furrowed slightly. "I'm... Not familiar with that name. Is this Amaroq a friend of yours?" He or she had to be a friend if they were visiting her sister. "Why.. Would they stop coming to see you? Do you think something happened?"

Her eyes widened a bit. "Oh im sorry! I didnt even think that you might not know of him. Oh, how rude I am! No, Amaroq was a stallion, whom I fell in love with, and they said they fell in love with me.."
She huffed abit.
"But he's been only coming to see me when it suits him. He wont come out of his way, or come visit me like he used to.."

"No, no! You needn't be sorry... It's not rude either." She smiled as she watched her sister, shaking her head slowly at the end of the tail. "Love... Is a strange thing, isn't it? Isn't it a good thing, though, that you discovered this about him now? And not months later after finding yourself with foals?"

She smiled at her sisters smile. She couldnt help but feel better when Memory spoke. "Indeed. I dont know that I care to fall in love at all. It just leaves you vulnerable, and I think im doing okay."
She said.

"I... Don't think that love leaves you vulnerable. I... Think it brings something out in you that you might not have seen otherwise. F-father has found someone to care for again, hasn't he? We learn from our past... I'm sure you'll find someone p-perfect someday, Naina." She continued to smile reassuringly.

From anyone else, those words would have sounded false, and very false at that. But coming from Mem's mouth, and using her voice, she was forced to smile, and acknowledge, that once again the older mare was right.
"Aye, he has. I guess theres hope out there. After all.. Im still young." She said, standing proud.
