Ok everyone, here's what is currently known about David Silveria's doings, his relationship with the band and etc.

- He was originally encouraged to take a forced temporary hiatus by JD during the writing and recording process off Untitled because of personal issues.
- He maintained (and possibly still does) a good relationship with Munky, attending his fashion show for the label Meeschka. His current relationship with other members of the band is unknown.
- However, Jonathan has stated that David would not return any of their calls when they've attempted to contact him.
- Fans recently met him at his steakhouse Silvera's. When they asked him when we'll get to see him back with Korn, he just walked away and said nothing.

arrow There has been much speculation about David's reasons for taking a break - from rehab, to business, to band rifts, to familial. The band have already stated that his reasons were familial and business related.

arrow Recently, the band are now stating that David's hiatus has been extended, and is now indefinite. It is currently unknown if, and when he will be back with KoRn. A probable reason for this would be that he is rumored to be fathering another child; and that he has put his new fatherhood over his commitments with the band.

arrow David is no longer listed as an official member of Korn. It now looks as though his hiatus is permanent rather than indefinite. However, talk of his return in future still exists.

[18/May/2008] According to Jonathan himself, David will not be returning to Korn in the near future; he cites loss of passion for music as the cause. Jonathan has said that Davis is pursuing different interests, which are okay as long as he's happy. sad


[5/May/2008] According to Wikipedia (and already this source is questionable), in a recent episode of MTV cribs, David commented that he will be back with Korn during the summer of next year to record the new album. Fingers ******** crossed! whee [DISPROVEN]

Thanks for the information! I wasn't sure about anything. I thought he totally left the band forever before I read this, so I guess I'm still hopeful he'll come back. Life's gotten very busy for him, hasn't it?

No problem! And yeah, David's been swamped by a ton of things. Lol, I forgot the part where his steakhouse got sued xD

Some customer's sued Silvera's, I think for food poisoning. nothing else about it has surfaced.

Damn, even though David didn't seem to really participate in a lot of the interviews and videos of them flopping around and stuff, I still miss the guy =/

Jonathan won't let Korn die, no matter what. I'm still extremely saddened about this though... he was my second fave after Jonathan crying

Hopefully he'll have the heart to actually come out and tell us what really been happening with him, I just think it's kinda rude to keep fans in the dark... people who've been keeping him in a state of admiration for many years.

Ah I don't know... I'm just utterly disappointed.

It saddens me really. Korn will get through though! I believe it! Wow I sound all like stupid anime cartoons now lol.
