The Story
Every story you hear is of how a hero saved the earth, but what happened to the stories where the hero failed. In the far future their was an evil so powerful that the profit born to defeat him failed and all hope was lost. This evil was known as Kiltex and he plunged the earth into chaos and destruction, until the people finally gave up and surrendered to Kiltex. Luckily before Kiltex was able to complete his evil hold on earth a few humans were able to escape including the women who held the child of the one that failed. They fled to the dark side of the moon and made camp. Sure that the spirit energy of the next hero would be strong enough in time.
A thousand years have past since Kiltex took control of the earth and although the earthlings are in bondage those on the moon have thrived into a large colony. They have thrived so well that there technology is one million times better than that of earths before Kiltex took over. After he gained control though he destroyed all technology but what he needed for himself leaving the people of earth to live a rural life. This gave the people of the moon a huge advantage because they were able to study the ancient sword of the hero and create a way to make other weapons that could also harness a persons spiritual energy.
The leader of the moon people, limpod, has decided that the time has come to put earth into the rightful hands of the humans. So they have built a portal that will transport them to the earth in a secluded mountain range. But when the time comes to send down the troops the council decides that it is too dangerous and outvotes limpod. He knows that time is short if he still wishes to fulfill the prophecy left by the ancient ones, for the child of the one who failed must be born on earth in order to save it. So he takes the mother on the night of her delivery and they go to earth to have the baby. Unfortunately as they are about to leave the mother and her new son are taken by Kiltex’s henchmen and forced into the labor house were new mothers can stay and still work.
When limpod returns his treachery is discovered and he is demoted while also having the job of rescuing the mother and the little hero. He moves to the edge of the shadows of the moon to start his work and many who are loyal to him come as well to lead him there help. It has been 13 year and they have finally found the boy. Limpod knows a rescue will be impossible so he sets up a control station and takes himself back to earth. This way he can train the boy and anyone else who wish to help in the cause to save earth.

Renith was mucking out the village leaders horse stalls when he finds a cylinder box like one of the ancient toilet paper roles. He bends down and picks it up. He tries to open it up, but is unable to so he troughs it to the ground. As some as the role hit’s the ground a scanner comes out to insure that Renith is alone before a hologram is emitted. Renith looks at it in total shock unsure of what to think as the hologram begins to take.
“Renith this is limpod of the moon. I cannot reveal much only that if you want a better life than come to the northern woods tonight” limpod finishes and then disappears leaving the roll that begins to burn to nothing but ash. He stairs at the ash in disbelief. What did he mean a better life? And how was he there and then gone? Just then a guard comes in and notices renith’s not working. “get back to work boy” he scolds and then hits him upside the head. He hurriedly gets back to work.
Renith cautiously walks up to the northern wood his eyes in a constant panic of being seen out so late. When he is sure the cost is clear he darts into the woods and runs as fast as he can until he comes to a clearing. He stops and looks around not to sure of what to do next. How was this magician suppose to find me? He gave me no other instructions after this. Then he jumps at the sound of breaking twigs behind him. He spins to find himself face to face with limpod. “I’m glad you came” he says as a wide smile spreads across his face. “I… I shouldn’t be hear” he says as he turns to leave. “don’t you want to save the world” he says in order to peek the boys curiosity. He turns and stairs at limpod “save the world?” he nods then makes a motion for renith to sit on a upright log before he begins his story. “you are the descendent of the great failed hero, but the time has come for his son to redeem him. You have the spirit energy to fight and defeat kiltex, with only a little help from me to get you used to it.” At this renith interrupted. “what is spirit energy?” limpod looks at him for a moment before answering “it is the energy in you. Energy that you will soon be able to mold into a physical shape that will be the source of your power.” By now renith was completely confused. Haven’t I always been the lowly stable boy? What is this guy talking about that I am a great hero. He finally decided to speak up and let limpod know that he was mistaken. “um I’m not a hero I think you have me confused with someone else. I don’t have this power you talk about.” he says with as most respect as possible. “why sure you do here take this” he explains as he pulls a sword from inside his cloak. He forces it into renith’s hands and waits for him to try it out. Renith takes a few unsure swipes before looking back at limpod quizzically. “Now focus. Look inside your self and find the energy. Bundle it up and then release it through the sword.” he instructs as if he has been teaching this forever. Renith takes a moment with his eyes closed trying to do what he knows is impossible and just when he was going to give up the sword starts to glow a bright silver. Then as he gives up and opens his eyes to tell the man it’s not possible a silver ball of energy is shot from the tip of the sword. He stairs at the spot were it impacted the ground and his mouth fell open. Limpod comes nearer to his and puts his arm around his shoulder “so will you come with me to begin training to be a hero?” he nods before a thought hits him and he has an outburst “why did the hero before me fail?” limpod looks at him amazed at how quickly he adjusted to this new idea. “he was to prideful and tried to go at it alone” he responds. “Then we need friends to help with our cause” renith suggests. 4 years later

Ok this is when all of you fellow RPers come in. You see in the 4 years renith has been with limpod they have been able to recruit “friends” and build a small village hidden from the eyes of kiltex. You can ether already be in the village and have mastered the use of your personal spirit energy and weapon, or have just found it and want to help, or your evil.
