Stormbreaker7 Kei stared up at the sky for a few moments too as well. "You might be right..." He said and sighed. He shook his fur out again, just in case any wetness was still left in his fur and followed his love back into the cave. He stretched out and yawned. There was just something about rainy days that made one sort of sleepy. Perhaps it was that they were a little boring.

Kei looked down at Kaira with sleepy eyes. He admired her for a few moments, her pretty eyes, her lovely mane, her rainbow colored spots... It was then he was reminded of something that made him smile. "At least we might get a rainbow when this is all over. I have not seen one of those since we were pups, not including your spots of course." He rested his head on top of hers. "It doesn't seem that long ago, though... time sure flies by fast."

Karia face turned warm and red, as she blushed feeling Kei's head on top of hers. "Hmm.. rainbows are always nice on days like these.." She whispered, her eyes started to feel heavy. But opened them wide so see can stay awake. But he was right, it wasn't that long ago that they met.. That they told their true feelings to each other.. She never felt along in a day of her life because Kei was always beside her. "It sure does.." She mumbled after a long silence.

"I think rainbows are nice on about anyway day. One of the reasons I'm happy to have you," He said, not only commenting like that because of her spots. She did remind him a little bit of a rainbow for other reasons as well. He closed his eyes to enjoy the moment. "So maybe the rainbow will come sooner then we think too if time works the way we want it to," He mumbled quietly. His tail swished over to meet her own.
Another crack of thunder was heard the hit one of the threes nearby, making it crash to the ground. It had almost been enough of a shock to make Kei jump. Never had lightning struck so close...

After hearing a crash of thunder. She gasped and looked outside and sighed backing up into Kei and scared. She grabbed her chest and took deep breaths. "I'm sorry.. Its just that crash made me nervous.." Her calm voice whispered again. She shook her head and leaned on Kei again, a bit of a shiver came across of her. "K-Kei.. Do you feel a bit cold?" She asked him, feeling like there was a chill was coming from somewhere..

Kei shook his head slowly. "Don't be sorry. It almost made me jump too. But were safe. I won't let anything happen to you," He smiled gently at her and nuzzled her comfortingly. He was thankful they had a nice den to be in instead of being outside in this weather. He frowned a little as she shivered. "A bit... lets get deeper into the den and curl up," He said. He didn't want Kaira to get sick. He wished there was some other way for the two of them to get warmer too.

Karia nodded her head. "That sounds like a good i.." She sneezed and sniffed. "Sorry.. That sounds like a good idea.." She said. Getting a bit closer to him, feeling the warmth of his fur. She blushed again, feeling the warmth on her cheeks, hoping that Kei wouldn't see it.

Kei frowned, staring at her with concern. "You're not getting sick are you?" He asked. He pressed his forehead to hers to try and feel if it was warm. He noticed the blush on her cheeks, wondering if she was just a little embarressed or if it was from some fever coming on. "Come on," He said and took a few steps farther into the den. He stopped and waited for her to come along too. Hopefully if they went deeper it would be warmer.

As Karia stopped blushing, her cheeks still felt warm. She stopped and felt her cheeks and sneezed. "I think I'm caught..." Her sneezing interruped her sentence... "I must have a fever.." She finished. and paced to Kei, falling on him and felt light headed. "I don't feel so good, Kei.. She whispered.

Kei's eyes widened. "K-Kaira?" He said in shock. It was just as he feared. She had felt a bit warm, but obviously it had been a bit worse then he had thought. "Don't worry. I'll take care of you," He said and nuzzled her, slowly laying down so she could lay down on top of him. He frowned and looked around. He would need to think of a good way to move the both of them deeper into the cave and find a way to get her warmer. He had heard of mysterious creatures called elves making something called fire, but Kei had no idea how he would do that without hands. What was he to do..?

Karia breath deeply as she tried to stay on Kei's back. She sneezed over and over again and coughed. Her eyes started to water, not because she was sad, it was because of the consante sneezing she was doing. "I-I feel so cold.." She whimpered, shivering to keep herself warm.

Kei pulled her up a bit so she was completely on his back and carefull moved further into the den. "I'll get you some warmth, Kaira... somehow... I promise," He said quietly. As soon as they were as far as possible, Kei brought himself as close to her as possible, cuddling her to keeo her warm. He whimpered a little and looked around. They needed help, but he couldn't get Kaira to find any. If only he knew one of those strange elf creatures or something.

Karia coughed again and blinked around. Feeling warmth from Kei. She sneezed once again and sniffed. As she felt like she wants to keep coughing and coughing, like something was tiggling in her trought. She whimpered and tried not to complain to Kei, knowning he is trying to do the best he can. But she thinks its more than a cold or fever.. maybe its the flu..

(( x.x Hrmmm... how does a dragonfly take care of something like a flu in this situation. Perhaps I should bring in Easter since he has an elf form. XD;
Easter: ...? ))
Kei spent sometime, whispering soothing words to her though he was only half aware with what he was saying. His mind kept wandering around to what he should do. If he left he might be able to find someone who could help Kaira, but what if something happened to her during the time she was sick? What if she got worse thanks to the lack of his body warmth around her? What if all that happened and there was no help out there anyway? His ears folded back. Things seemed so hoepless... He couldn't even decide if the risk was worth taking.

(( o: if he was only Kei ( and not bring in Easter ) He could go out and find some type of herb.. xD But it would be better by just throwing in Easter and all.. >:
o: did you know... that bear fur is a good blanket.. 8D; -SHOT- ;P maybe Kei could put something like that over her til he gets back finding someone.. ))
Karia had her eyes wired shut as she grabbed her stomach, it seem to start aching with her head. And not making her any better. She started to cry as lying down wasn't good for her breathing, she rose up and coughed multiple times until she lied down once again.
