It recently came to my attention that there is a new Gaian Goodwill out there in Gaia's charity subforum. I've spoken to the owner of the charity, and they seem like a friendly and lively group, so we've decided to do a Christmas event together this year. I absolutely love Christmas, and this is bound to be tons of fun. Further details about the event will come as we get them hashed out, but in the mean time, meet the owner and moderators of the Gaian Goodwill Charity Thread! whee ~ heart

Hallo ^^
I am Es! Founder of the, ummm...., "New" Gaian Goodwill.
I want to first say Hi to everyone. so HI! xd
This is the first charity I have ever ran, and t has been fun thus far.
My Gaian Goodwill Charity first started as an exchange shop where, like goodwill, sold Gaian items for very very cheap. But being in the exchange, we could not control who we sold our cheap items to. In turn, we had hundreds of people just coming in to make a quick profit. This was all nice and good, but I wanted to feel like I was helping someone. So the "New" Gaian Goodwill was born! We relocated to the cahrities subforum on October 27th 2007, and have amassed over 400 pages in 2 weeks, along with about 8-10 regulars. In those 2 weeks my charity has donated over 80k to those who are questing items.
I am really excited to be doing a Christmas event with the original Goodwill ^^
I hope we can make this a very giving and fulfilling Christmas for us all ^^

I want to just say this that I am happy to be working with the Original Gaian Goodwill an hope to have fun with the upcoming event an that I am excited to be working with everyone here

I've done a bit of everything for the charity.
Coding, donations, organization, and a few banners now.
[I'm currently a Photoshop student, so they're nothing amazing. Yet.]
I'm also willing to do most anything tossed at me.
Can't wait for the event!

I'm one of the mods in the New Goodwill thread.
I do some coding for the thread and just hang out most of the time.
doing a Christmas event with the Original Goodwill sounds like a lot of fun and I really look forward to it ^.^

Jellybean - I like your sig. My roommate is obsessed with the Twilight series. She's been trying to get me to read it, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I guess I should. After all, she's the one who insisted that I read Harry Potter, and I enjoyed that immensely. sweatdrop (Snape pwnz jur internetz!!! spoiler:WHY!? Yay! I am in the process of redoing the front page of the charity to make it easier to navigate, and it is easier on the eyes. xDD
Which means....
We can move on to plan our event, and find out exactly how we are going to do this.

Meh....
Anyways, long story short. I'm Shizuka and I Mod the New Gaian Goodwill.
My (self-appointed! xd ) job in the charity is to keep newbies in line and eat any rulebreakers. 3nodding
....
