...say something Doctor Who related to you? Ever overhear a Who conversation? Or comment on anything Doctor Who-like that you had on/were near? Any RANDOM person, out in public, at school, etc...?

I have. Today, upon finding a bright red Telephone box when I was shopping with my folks, I felt the need to investigate whether it was bigger on the inside or not. Sadly, it wasn't. The door was also very heavy. But it still rocked. Shortly after I trotted off to find my mum, leaving my dad and brother near the phone-booth. A few minutes later my dad finds us and tells me, 'You know, after you left, there was this girl walking by and she said "Oh look, it's just like the one in Doctor Who! (referring to the phone booth)"' Now understand, Fantome's dwelling in America, west coast to be precise. This was pretty damn big for me. So ya. xD

I've also had a weird sub during a test walk by my desk, glance at my binder momentarily as he passed (it's got Chris Eccleston on the front, my own little collage <3), start walking again, stop, look back, move backwards, stop in front of the binder, look up at me and go: 'That's Doctor Who.' And I'm like: 'Yup. 8D' The rest of the class looked like fish, their mouths were all open and they had the impending 'WTF' expression written clearly on their face. Sadly I never got that sub again, nor did I get to talk to him about Doctor Who...

Hehe. I was in line for a few hours waiting for the Harry Potter movie tickets and such (USA, east coast) and I'm talking about how the books and all are different from the original British ones, and about how there's some awesome British cast in the movies, and we're talking about that, and he's all: "Yeah, Doctor Who is good too. I watch it sometimes."
Me: *jaw drops*
And he's at least twenty years older than I am, too. Unfortunately that's all he said.. *sigh*

Oh, and my History teacher referenced Bill and Ted (by name). I knew what that was despite never seeing it. So I grinned and the people around me kinda looked odd at me. xD

xDD

Yeah, although the guy in line only watched it generally.. not like on a regular basis, even. o_O.. Couldn't remember which Doctor they'd gotten up to..... TT^TT
I say you can't call yourself a fan if you don't at least see it on a regular basis when it's on the telly. >>;;

And my History teacher is kinda creepy. No way am I gonna talk with him unless I have to.. ><;

Me prodding people about Doctor Who....yeah... >>;; I scare people with my obsessions. Like DW, and House, and Heroes, and now-somewhat-Harry Potter.... *shuts up*

oops! I put no on the poll but then I remembered me and my english teacher have talk about doctor who all the time, and when ever we have a project I always ask if I can make it related to doctor who, and he always says yes! just last week I did an add for a sonic screwdriver

@Ceribri: I do that with Harry Potter, any type of musicals, House, Doctor Who, and Phantom. Phantom of the Opera kinda corresponds with musicals but it's so awesome it's by itself. <3

@lemonpiepie: You're lucky! -wishes she had someone to talk DW with-

I've only ever found one person who had ever watched Doctor Who, and it wasn't accidental. A friend of my Mom watches the new series so we went camping with them and the whole time we talked about Doctor Who blaugh
I always bug people about it though, when I meet someone new the first thing I ask is if they watch Doctor Who.

Doctor who is pretty big with some of my old friends...
There's this guy, a total chav, who is obsessed with it. It amazes me, as he totally geeks out about it!
I love arguing about it with him though.

Awesome. Lucky you guys!

I usually ask first thing if they've actually heard of it...I gave up a month or so ago.. -forgets that most normal 15 year olds don't watch British shows-

It usually goes something like this, if I can even think I have a chance getting a response:

Me: "Hey, just wondering, but have you heard of Doctor Who?"
Them: "What?"
Me: "No, Who. It's this British sci-fi show. Amazing stuff, really..." -trails off-
Them: -blank expression-

One time, my mother took me into a candle store. I had Doctor Who buttons on my purse strap, and the owner noticed. By sheer luck, he loved Doctor Who! XD He loved the old and new, and he was happy to talk about it until another customer came in. That was wicked awesome!
