Too lazy to find my topic. I start at KB Toys tomorrow. It's seasonal, but if I'm kickass I get to stay on as permanent. I got to get new shoes, because I reminded my mom I own dirty gray slip ons, falling apart blue and orange flip flops, and black pumps. And I need white/brown/black shoes.
I need to look into invisible nose piercings, because I'm hell bent on getting my nose pierced but the job says no. D:
BUT YAY JOB. YAY HOURS, YAY $7.50 AN HOUR.

Cool. Welcome to the world of retail I'm sure you'l loooove it. Except not. Although some people do actually like it, so hopefully you're one of those people.
On Thanksgiving make sure you look up black friday on youtube. I did that last year and flipped out. Then it turned out that no one shops at Payless on that day because everywhere else has better sales that only last one day, and ours lasts until Christmas. KB however I believe would be a different story xd

MY LEGS ARE DEAD NYMPHIE.
We were RLYRLY busy yesterday.
Yeah, KB's having a sale right now, and prolly something on black friday. We all have to work 8 hour shifts that day, and you can only get the midnight one (they open at MIDNIGHT, and people actually SHOP at midnight...and 3 am...) if you've been there awhile. D;
I work 12-8 that day.
They are incapable of having chairs or stools of any kind behind the register because they are STUPID. And until I learn where things are I'm stuck behind the register. And that's literally STUCK, because you need someone to take over for you if you're going to leave it. yay 3 registers and always a line. x.x
I like the people though. Or, the three people I was around all day yesterday. THEY DON'T SEEM AS BITCHY AS PEOPLE IN YOUR WORK NYMPHIE. And there's an RC car that we drive around the store and are SUPPOSED to drive around the store and you can't greet without also working the car.

I doubt it's as bad as food service. D:
My sister worked at Red Robin for almost two years until she got 'let go' a few months ago by a bitchy manager... She refuses to eat at Red Robin anymore, after seeing what goes into the food, and she shudders whenever someone mentions working food service.

They are amaaaazing. I would rather do register then help people. But thats mostly becasuse I dont like helping. XD And no where has chair/stools, because sitting down looks "unprofessional" As if any customers give a damn rolleyes No one seems bitchy at first, give it time XD Most people I work with arent bitchy. They're just really bad workers. Which makes them hated because when someone doesnt do their job everyone else has to pick up the slack and no one likes that. Homg midnight is craaazy time to open. Good luck with that. All Payless does is open an hour early and close an hour late. Sylfy - Yeah I can imagine D: Its hard, annoying work, AND its gross. Like ew. I've never worked food service and hope I never have to.

I look into those. I need something for my shoes anyway because I have insanely high arches and shoes NEVER give enough support.
I know two of the people I worked with yesterday. They're a year older than me. I don't love them, but I know they're pretty okay. Don't know anyone else very well though, because everyone else came in when it was really busy and I had no time to be introduced.
And I love the old ladies that give me a $100 bill for one thing that costs $12.74 (I hate 74 cents. It is such hell to give change for) and then recount the money 5 times because even though they SAW the $5 bill when you showed them, you didn't say it OUT LOUD, which of course means it MIGHT not be there. I ALSO HATE PEOPLE WHO COUNT OUT CHANGE. rolleyes

Good luck at your job!
I can't wait until I'm old enough to get a job. I've already decided that I want to work at Borders. They hire 16 year olds to work at the coffee part of the store. You have to be 18 or older to work the book store part, though. D: BUT I'D STILL BE IN THE BOOKSTORE <333
And I don't care if they don't need workers when the time comes. I will go and beg on my hands and knees if I have to.

She can't feel her feet anymore. Her heels are numb.
Butitsok. Because the people who come to hotels are AWESOME. rolleyes There was this one lady in a wheelchair, and i told her what my manager told me to say... only i said it nicer... and she was like "i DON'T appreciate your effort. You're lucky i don't call human rights and get them on your asses!"

But we have to ask everyone if they want to donate $1 to toys for tots, and those people always say yes. And you have to do that first, and it takes FOREVER because it's all stupid stuff on the register. So they get impatient.
