So my eye hurt last night. I didn't think anything of it.
I woke up this morning and felt like there were two eyes in my left eye socket. All underneath my eye hurt like hell and was quite swollen.
I told the doctor that my eye felt like it was going to explode. She took a look at it and gave me some antibiotics and eye drops. "Call me if it gets worse," she told me. "We need to make sure it doesn't spread."*
*(not actual conversation)
What does this have to do with my cones? Well, nothing since the infection is under the eye. I just like the cones. They beat the crap out of rods any day.

Bogus_Burger Thanks everyone. She said it's a stye. no, cones beat rods. I've had that twice.
Mine was from wearing my contacts too long (I'm supposed to change them out every month. I never do).
Not good times.
I feel your pain.

I'm perfectly human ^^ I'm just training to become a pilot, so I have to look after my eyes... They haven't seen the light of day without sunglasses in over 4 years.

I feel your pain. Ouch! I think once is more than enough. I can't imagine having this twice.
