The Durem Secret Operations, fighting at only 10% strength and with no backup, staked 3000 vampires, ashing more than 500. My only question is where the HELL was Obsidian Lance? The Durem Secret Ops. are paramilitary, while Obsidian Lance is Durem’s “official” military. If Obsidian is the elite combat unit of Durem, then how’s come DSO were the ones organizing and taking to the streets to defend our city? Obsidian did not have a single CP in the event forum, nor did they respond to my calls for backup, so where were they? They are supposedly the “Elite verbal combat unit” of Durem, why weren’t they fighting alongside their Durem brothers and sisters in the DSO? I’m pissed!! My soldiers can fight with their all, sacrificing more than anyone else here, yet they can’t be recognized for it. We aren’t an official Durem military branch. We fight and sacrifice for nothing more than the knowledge we kept our city safe. My men and women can’t receive military honors, presidential accommodations, or any form of award, but Obsidian Lance soldiers can! Shouldn’t they be the ones willing to sacrifice more? I was once denied a position in Obsidian, now I wouldn’t take one if they offered a commission! The Durem Secret Operations ARE the elite. We are always ready! We will have our presence known on the battlefield. If you know of us, sign up! If you’ve only heard of us through the tales of battles hard-fought and hardly-won, then seek us out, we need all the able minds we can get. ~Hiro Isome, 1st Lt. Flamming other members of this guild is not too mature if ya ask me. i was considering joing the dso but now i think i'll refrain... besides i was on both sides of that "war"

Thonek ARE YOU ONE OF THOSE FOOLS THAT GAVE ME 1300 STAKES! more than likely, but trust me, it was impersonal, we didn't go after any one specific, just stake every vampire in sight. -_-' and as for the other comments, yeah, maybe i am takeing this too far, but i felt like i needed to prove something to Obsidian since i was denied a position, then they don't even show, i was personaly insulted by it.... I'm over it and already planning on getting ready for the next event. And i do admit i shouldn't flame Obsidian for not showing, but i still feel they should have at least posted that they weren't taking part it it as a group, there WAS a battle field in durem, even if it's not town against town, an organization like Obsidian should take a side and fight just so it doesn't fade into background memories.

<<; I'm the President 'round here and I didn't even show up in the GUILD for a few weeks. I've always thought our "offices" were purely for show. I'm good friends with our mods and the only reason anyone around here GETS anywhere is based entirely on popularity. xB

So you participated in an event. Good job staking all those vampires but you do not need to resort to harsh words
