I went to one of their concerts last night!
The theatre it was in was a little small, but it was quite enjoyable.
I thought Annette was really quite good. She does have a slightly different singing style, but I think she does good as a replacement for Tarja. Emppu, of course, was hot
They were really good at interacting with the crowd.
They played a pretty good mix of old and new songs, so I was happy with that.
So anybody else go to one of their concerts?

I was looking forward to the Nightwish concert in Minneapolis for like... a year.
But then I couldn't go.
I was so f_cking pissed.

I saw them on November 6th in Santa Ana. I was at the rail not too far off the center. I got my hand grabbed by every band member except Jukka. Marco even got between the stage and the rail at the end of the show. heart heart
Then after the show, there was a meet and greet, where I turned into a bashful mess (especially in front of Marco). The band was very pleasant, though you could tell they were all tired. Emppu was bouncing off the walls though and exclaimed, "Hey! I saw you! Hehehe!" when I approached him. They were all doodling on the tablecloth too, and Tuomas perked up when my brother commented on his artwork. He even pointed out to him some of the things he was drawing. xD
I'm seeing them again in my hometown (Vegas) in May with all my friends. I already have my tickets. xD

I went to their concert in Hungary in this Spring! It was awesome!!! Anette has a really good voice! next year they will come again in spirng...I will go again!!! biggrin razz

It's the sadest thing when...I've never had the pleasure of seeing them live, but it's definatly on my to-do list. Angels fly away...

I went to the concert on May 3rd at the Crocidile Rock in Pennsylvania *USA* And it was awesome, and they played ROMANTICIDE!!! I almost cryed when that song came on. And I got a pic of me, and my 2 other friends with Anette. And sigs, and all that. We even Made Anette a Hep Hep sigh, and she kept making refferences to us during the concert, and we gave it to her after words. *We were the front row* Anette is the most awesome person in the world. If ya have he chance...MEET HER!!!

Vaudeville_Masterpiece I went to the concert on May 3rd at the Crocidile Rock in Pennsylvania *USA* And it was awesome, and they played ROMANTICIDE!!! I almost cryed when that song came on. And I got a pic of me, and my 2 other friends with Anette. And sigs, and all that. We even Made Anette a Hep Hep sigh, and she kept making refferences to us during the concert, and we gave it to her after words. *We were the front row* Anette is the most awesome person in the world. I'm so glad you got to meet them! It's always a wonderful experience meeting the band!

I was there that night biggrin I too got to meet her smile I had her sign a shoe with her picture on it and I talked to her for a few minutes then she hugged me and told me I was a sweet gilr!!
