I know a person who is lvl 40 WHM. He has 3million gil on hand and has almost another 10million in items. Should I tell him to stop buying gil? Or ask for some gil? smile

why would people waist real money on fake money, rather than just earn the fake money so easily, but if your close to him, there is no harm in asking =P my friend buys gil all the time, and every time he does he gives me around 40-100K =P what server are you on?

If you've known the character for a while... it won't hurt to ask. I try to help my friends out whenever I can. If you've just met him, I'd say wait a while... If you barely know him or hang out with him in the game... don't bother, 'cuz if he's like me... It'll irritate him when someone he barely knows asks him for gil. I HATE it when someone just comes upto to me just to ask for Gil!!!
