My school musical is, sadly, The Music Man. Now, being only a freshman, even if I audition I'm bound to be ensemble, yet there's a small chance I'll be able to get a supporting role.
Have you done Music Man? Any tips on auditions?

This is gonna sound weird, but... do you go to school in Syracuse? I ask cus I noticed you are from New York and my friend is choreographing a production of Music Man in her hometown and yeah... it would be weird if it happened to be the same production, though I know the chances are SLIM. But still, wouldn't it be funny?
I wish my school had done Music Man. I think it's a cut show and I would have loved to played the mayor's wife. I suggest you research the show, pick the role you are shooting for and try to tailor everything about your audition to give they people you audition for the idea that you'd be good for that person. From the songs you pick down to the way you dress. It's how I recommend you handle every audition.

Haha, no, I don't live in Syracuse. I live on the Island, West Islip.
I've actually decided not to do The Music Man, instead, I'm auditioning for Into The Woods at a local theatre.
