Three-Legged Race
Number of People Per Team: 2
Number of Combined Successes needed to win: 50
This is the 100-meter three-legged race. You can pop-in and compete at anytime as the winner will be determined at the end of the festival by whichever team made it to the end the fastest.

Rules:
You can not double-post, you have to wait on your partner to post/roll before you can post/roll again for your next action.
If you can not find a partner you can assign an NPC to your team. The NPC can be an inactive partner, Sensei or random person you knocked out and brought to the Event. You are also responsible for writing out their actions in that post.
In order to win your team must accumulate 50 "points" these points are collected by rolling One 10-sided dice per post.

6 - 9: It wasn't perfect but you did well. 5 Successes

If you are using an NPC Partner, you roll Two 10-sided Dice per post. You are not allowed to post more than once every 5 hours. The First Dice is for your character's Successes, the Second is for the NPC.

Kagami and Haru walked into the stadium. "Woohooo! Let's do our best huh Haru-chan!" She said excitedly as she recieved the binders for their ankles.
Haru, on the other hand, didn't seem so chipper "I can't believe you talked me into this..." she sighed, making sure that the black bandana on her head was secured properly. "I -really- can't believe you talked me into wearing this stupid shirt." She added looked at the hot-pink t-shirts with "Team Phoenix!" across the chest.
"Ehhhh? But we're supposed to show youhful vigor for our Country and our teams Haru." Kagami said as she finished securing the band around their ankles. As the pair hobbled over to starting line they placed their arms around each others shoulder.

At the sound of the starting whistle Kagami and Haru said in unison, "Let's go!!!" But this vigor was quickly dismantled as Kagami slips and nearly falls over. However, Haru catches her by the back of her shirt, "I swear you're such a burden sometimes Kagami." She says with a grin as the pair start off fairly well.
Meanwhile Tsunami lays out lazily in the warm sun as she watches her owner and her bestfriend during the race.

Kagami was fired up now, getting in synch with Haru's leg she excitedly fast walked. "Victory is in our grasp Haru!" She exclaims excitedly, not looking back. A quick glance on either side of her revealed that there were currently no other competetors in sight between them and the finish line.
Haru on the other hand -was- doing quite well, but with Kagami's quickened pace she fell behind just enough that she was barely able to keep up with her partner without falling over. "He..hey! Kagami! Slow down!!"

Tyson walked to the track with some someone he hadn't seen since his academy days. Their legs bound together as they were supposed to be the two of them maneuvered their way onto the track and started off.
Tyson glanced at his partner as he bolted forward, "think you can keep up,Tora-kun?"
"I don't think you've gotten that good that I can't keep up if I try."Toranaga said as he focused on the finish line that was still a ways off from them, trying to remain on his feet and still keep up.

Zanzu had come up on the starting line with a random unconscious man strapped to his leg who he had without a doubt knocked over the head then kidnapped to the race after giving up on finding a partner. As soon as he heard the gunshot to signalize the start of the race, he took off, the man flopping and flailing around on the ground as Zanzu dashed ahead, leaving a huge cloud of dust behind him.

"Let's do this Tora-kun! I can't lose to the likes of crab boy back there, we must win!"Tyson yelled bolting forward at top speed attempting to put distance between Team Fang and Team Crab Battle.
Toranaga was doing his best to keep up, but was soon on the ground being dragged by Tyson. Damn he's good, I mean he was good back then but he's definately gotten better.
Tyson realizing what happened stopped to haul Toranaga back to his feet, "you better not give up on me."
"Not a chance,"Toranaga exclaimed with a smirk as they preparred to continue.

The unconscious man strapped to Zanzu's leg began to wake from being dragged along the ground then with a great deal of effort got himself up and began running along side his kidnapped.
"What the hell is going on...who are you and what are we doing?!" he shouted at Zanzu
"Oh so you're awake? We're in a race try to keep up, I might even split the prize with you if you cooperate!" Zanzu laughed a little at the man who was keeping pace with him quite well.

"Faster, they passed us."Tyson yelled as he charged forward, not caring if he won or not he just wanted to beat Zanzu to the finish line.
"Damn you if I'd known I'd have to work this hard I would have stayed home."Toranaga complained childishly while laughing.
"Yosh, we passed them again." Tyson yelled as he ran forward past Zanzu and his teammate, Tornaga basically only running when Tyson's momentum wasn't enough to keep him going.

Zanzu and the man continued to run forward in perfect sink, as if they had been partners all their life almost.
"Heh...I sure picked a winner in the middle of that market, you're pretty damn good and I'm surprised you're actually cooperating." Zanzu shouted at the man with a slight laugh, giving him a thumbs up.
"WHAT CHOICE DO I HAVE?! I'M STRAPPED TO YOUR LEG ITS NOT LIKE I CAN RUN AWAY! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"...The man was obviously displeased with Zanzu but wasn't about to disobey his abductor.

"Wooo, I knew you wouldn't let me down Tora-kun."Tyson yelled in triumph as they sped forward leaving Zanzu and his partner in the dust.

As the other pair of contestants passed Zanzu and the random guy the passers slammed hard into the other pair, causing Zanzu and the man to stumble forward weakly for a few steps losing their pace considerably
WHAT THE HELL WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING BASTARDS!!
What a rude pair...that was highly uncalled for, cheating to win...I despise people like that...

((your rolls gave you 4 more successes which puts you at 29 and as for running into you I didn't say that, what I meant by leaving you in the dust was that to get that far ahead Team Fang would have to have been going fast enough to kick up dust thus leaving Team Crab Battle in the dust.))
Tyson didn't hear their yells as he focused on the finish line, giving it his all to try and finish this race with one last push. "Come on we can do it."
Toranaga glanced back and yelled, "I doubt we were that close to you but even if we did knock you over to a Shinobi it isn't cheating, it's tactics."
((No!!!!!!!!!! The dice betrayed me.))
Tyson was so focused on the finish line he tripped and fell, "********," was the only thing he said from the ground as Toranaga dragged him a little ways before helping him up.

Zanzu was still stumbling along but on the other hand the man whom he had abducted was now running just fine, dragging Zanzu along with him.
"Eh?...still having trouble, come on leaf ninja whats wrong you should be able to handle something like that no problem!" The man was laughing, enjoying every moment of Zanzu's humiliation, Zanzu on the other hand was busy sulking and hating every moment of his life.

"Woooo, feels great racing like this brings back old memories."Tyson yelled as he remembered his academy days the day he raced the teacher specifically.
"You really showed him that day"Toranaga replied knowing exactly the day Tyson was talking about.
Tyson slowed considerably as he remembered the good old days, Toranaga however sped up quite a bit having to grab Tyson's shirt and haul him as he ran.
