Anyone else find it odd that Grissom and Sara have named their dog Hank? Think they named him after Sara's jerk ex-boyfriend, or was it just a coincidence?

I think that it is a coincidence. . . maybe. It could be a inside joke with the cast xD Image them backstage laughing haha

*chuckling to myself at the thought*
I guess there's always the possibility that they named the dog Hank to be able to say stuff like "Bad Hank" when he makes a puddle on the carpet, for example. But I doubt that. It would be mean to the dog and so I don't think they would do that.

I wondered at the beginning of the conversation WHY Sara was mentioning her ex.
It's kind of amusing, but I figure Grissom had the dog before he and Sara were involved.

Yeah I noticed this as well. At first I was like "heeeeeeeeeey, wait a minute isn't Hank that asswipe that cheated on Sara" which then made me laugh that the dogs name was Hank. rofl
