As the captain of this guild I formally welcome you to Twilight Revealed :: The Secret of Light and Darkness. This is the place where all rules and guildlines are to be placed. You MUST follow these rules or you WILL be BANNED from the guild. I'm not trying to sound harsh, but I want this guild to be enjoyable for everyone. So before you even post, I will appreciate it greatly if you read through all rules and guidelines.

Basic Rules

Gaia's ToS and R&G
Gaia's Terms of Service and Rules and Guidelines will be enforced here. If you don't follow them, then you'll suffer the consequences.

Posting
Be respectful to all of those in the guild. Whether they be new or old or a member or captain, treat all with respect. Do not harass, flame, or be hurtful. If you aren't willing to be nice then don't post at all.

Post in the Appropriate Place
Every topic and subforum will be labeled and have info to tell you what goes where. Do not post randomness in the guild unless it is a board dedicated to randomness. Bumping also will not be tolerated.

Topics
If our topics go on to another page or more than please search to make sure that you are not posting a repeat topic. This can tend to be very annoying. Also do not create random topics unless they have been captain or vice captain approved first.

Attempt to Use Proper English in the Guild
We aren't all perfect at typing or using punctuation. Some of us aren't even the best at speaking english. But an effort to post so you're understandable is required. If you are not a good speller, type your posts into a word-processing program and spell-check them before posting them. In addition, no netspeak or leetspeak will be tolerated, nor will various "creative" styles of posting to the point where it hurts to read it, or never-ending strings of emoticons. Following this rule will make it easier to understand you and so we know what you're trying to say.

Read All Stickies, the Announcements, and the Q & A section
These things are here to help you get along better at the guild. They'll explain things and in the Q & A section you may ask questions if you're confused about something. Announcements also keep you informed about what is going on.

Other Rules

Spam
Spamming WON'T be tolerated in the guild. This means no, "I'm selling!" or what not. If you have your own guild that you'd like people to check out then you can PM them or if there's enough people then an affiliates section or something can be set up. But please do not post spam anywhere.

Posting Issues
This is something I am asking of all of those who join. It is issues with how often people post. When you first join, you must post something within two days of joining or you'll be deleted. If you prove within 5 days that you actually want to be in the guild, then you'll be promoted to crew. You must post at least once a week. You can of course post more and we'd love it if you did. If you cannot post for some reason then you need to contact the captain (me) or the vice captain and tell them why. If no reason is given and a week passes, then you'll be promoted to member again. Another week is given and then it's banishment.

Punishment
Since this is a guild, we can't really punish those who don't follow the rules, so here's how it goes. You get 3 warnings and then if you still aren't following the rules, then you'll be banned.

Rules About Roleplaying

OOC
OOC or Out of Character is when you need to say something in the roleplay like pointing something out or that you have to leave. You do not go into OOC to talk about something random like tacos. When in OOC it should look like this or similar :: (OOC: Insert message here).

Sentences
Try to post at least two FULL sentences when roleplaying. One word posts will not do. I know this is harsh but in past roleplaying it's really annoying when you type something and are expecting a good answer or reaction and all they say is, "Yeah." So please try to follow this rule.

GodModding
GODMODDING IS NOT TOLERATED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! This includes making your person dodge EVERY attack. You cannot say that you killed someone elses character either. Unless you have two characters and kill one of your own. You also cannot make it so your character is the supreme ultimate god and can do whatever he pleases. It's not fun and not fair to other.

How Literate?
I'll give an example of how posting should be done. :: "Insert talking here." Actions here. No little ** for actions please. It's not that hard to make an effort. Thinking should either be italicized or you should put So & So (Your characters name or he/she) though to himself, 'Insert thought here.'
