Do you guys think people in cadets/(j)rotc have it easier now a days then they did a while ago?
When I was in cadets we had to stand out in the freezing cold selling poppies late at night. Now I see the cadets selling them during the day and they're INSIDE the store. Seriously wtf? I was in cadets only 5 or 6 years ago and how cruel they are has obviously changed. Ok I'm done my rant. I just hated that the uniforms were so freakin cold and it was only a couple degrees above freezing and we had to stand there for several hours outside. Maybe that's why I never went back because it just wasn't for me. I loved the idea but I just couldn't handle it.
I've been proven right. The SAME cadet core I was in 5 or 6 years ago now gets PARKAS! PARKAS!!!!! We never got parkas! *so jealous*
