I've noticed a lot of people around me didn't like the "Hold on" video or the "Untitled" album. Which brings up the question....what is a true KoRn fan? Is it someone that says "Oh, I liked their earlier works, but Nu-KoRn just isn't that good"? No. I believe it's a person that says "I'll like KoRn no matter what kind of crazy crap they do." I believe there are very few that say that, and mean it. I am a true KoRn fan. I have all of their albums, and I'll like 'em no matter what. They're a good band.
And for those of you that are just gonna leave spam, f*** off.

A 'true' KoRn fan? Hmm... really there is no such person who can epitomise a "true" KoRn fan (well perhaps maybe Shellz).
A true KoRn fan yes, does love the band and their endeavors no matter what. In addition to this, I believe a "true" fan would also have the decency to critique, and form an honest opinion of the band's music and activities and engage in reasonable arguments with other fans who may or may not hold opposing views. A true fan shouldn't be afraid to say what they honestly feel, and should expect any ramifications posed by this view, and deal with them in a civilised and rational manner.
A true fan does not go about disrespecting the opinions of others, positive or negative; but is ready to defend themselves without coming off as an idiot and staying with in the bounds of reason - and be sure that they're damn good at that.
It is however, logically fallacious to define the perfect "true Korn fan", or fan of anything for that matter, as all people are different and there are technically no set of rules that all must abide by in order to achieve "true fandom" of anything.

I cant stand the new Hold On video. Yet I'm making plans to fly to Berlin (over 5 hours away from where I live by train!!) to see them live as that's the closest they're coming to me.
To me a true fan is someone that will voice their disapointment if they feel that the band could've done better, but still be prepared to accept it. It's like a loving relationship whee
I'm gonna say I think most people have all of the KoRn Cds, apart from maybe All Mixed Up, I dont have that. Damn.... sad
What was I talking about? Oh yeah, Don't criticise people for saying they dislike something a band or an artist has if they state a reason, I'd be more inclined to critisise someone that saw the music video, downloaded the song and then calls themselves a fan because they have Hold On on their iPod scream scream scream
BTW someone did this in my school. I'm known as really the only KoRn diehard in my school, but this one kid saw Twisted Transistor and "found it hilarious" so one day he came to me when I was wearing a KoRn T-Shirt and he's like, "yeah dude KoRn! I love them too! I didn't realise they were black when I first heard their music."
I laughed so hard, well, me AND my Gangsta Lil Jon lovin friends. rofl What a f**!

I do admit, as much as I love the guys, the Hold On video was an utter disappointment in my opinion. It's such a deep song, and to give it a video like that kinda ruins any emotional efficacy the song might have embodied. LOL and S0ZI, that guy is a dumbass! I ******** hate the "I love Korn because it's trendy" people.

When I was in 9th and 10th grade, there were only two Korn freaks, one of them being myself, and the other being an upperclassman. At the time, it was just both of us. After she graduated, it's basically just me now =]

After she graduated, it's basically just me now =] It was always just me sad . Well one of my best friends liked Korn for awhile too... then she got "happier" and it pissed me the ******** off. And i liked it!It was funny xd And ill all was like korn even when ******** head left ..... and the new people there still really good. Ya there a little different but hey there still good and they are still really unique.
