I'm in the process of making a big, complicated, detailed piece of artwork featuring everyone's avatar. Only problem? You guys put as much junk on your avatars as possible, it would seem. So much that you can't even tell there's a person under there after a wahile. The worst part is that with all of that junk on, it doesn't really look all that attractive, and certainly not something I want to even attempt to draw. My request? From November 10th (This Saturday) to November 13th (Next Tuesday), please dress your avatars in their ideal outfits, with only the accessories you deem absolutely necessary. It doesn't have to be overly simple, but at least make it so that everything you have equipped is visible. If you'd rather go to tektek and use their dreamavatar system to do this, and then PM me the link to the picture, that's fine. Just remember that if you do that, it needs to be your avatar. Thanks everyone. By next Saturday, a lineart at the very least should be up in the picture section. Oh..and if you don't understand the poll... http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/demented

Well, I don`t know how I really wanna look like, but I liked this one:  Actually, the Katana doesn`t show (that is why I prefer the parasol the way I`m holding now... I couldn`t make this there...) stare I liked it that way because I`m turned as a Vampire. I also couldn`t pose her at tektek... stare Sumaryzing, I like it as here, in Gaia, posed, Vampire, but I still miss the Winter Rose (Petal Rain) and the Ancient Katana (on my back, back waist-mounted). Or you could draw me as I were when we first met...  You choose!

Uh, I was generally aiming for this.  Those red lines in the background are just gibberish that comes with the kneckpiece.. and to tell the truth I don't like em', but the spike is neat looking... Also I was planning on using this Ghost Cape (the one on my real avatar) but its too frilly and I already have a lot of frills on this avatar..

Yes, you guys can change back. I've gotten quite a few sketches, though there are a few of you that I just can't do because the avatars are practically impossible to figure out (putting your Equipped List on your profile page is really helpful with that). Sometime at the end of this week, or the beginning of next, I should have a basic sketch of the picture I have in mind.

Sorry I haven't shown anything yet, but it turns out I won't be able to work on this for a short while yet. That's inspiration for you; I got some ideas for other pieces of work that really take priority, I'm afraid. In the meantime...I think I might post up the sketches I did of a number of the avatars. They'll be posted over in the pictures section sometime today.

I do take requests, and all of the GGG members will be a part of the big piece. Just a warning, though - I may not even get to this before the end of the year. I found out last night that in January, I'll be taking over the teaching of a manga-drawing class, and I plan to spend just about every minute between now and then learning everything I don't already know about manga. I'll be doing a lot of actual drawing in that time, though, so I'll likely take any requests you guys have. I may figure out some flat prices for pictures (gold, of course, not cash), simply so that, for once in my life, I can get paid for my creativity.
