A poll run by the CBBC website and the Children's Society asked children across the UK which famous person would make a good teacher.
David came out on top with over a quarter of the votes.
The rest of the list is as follows:

reTARDIS The cast of High School Musical!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what is this country coming to??? :waves: I'm from the U.S i think that might be our fault!...was it filmed in the U.S...i dont know i think most of teh cast is american...but then again i wouldn't know...but what I do know is that i hate it...and what i do know is that Tennant could be my professor any day...He'd make a good language professor... xp

From what I've heard, most of the kids surveyed wanted him to be their History teacher, because of his travels in the TARDIS! biggrin

David beckham came to our school (when I was still in it) but hardly anyone got to see or even hear about it till the next day. not even most of the teachers. i mean I wanted to get his autograph! (so i could flog it on ebay and buy something better. :])

this reminds me of the caterine tate skit he did where he was the english teacher. But yes I would so want him to be my teacher. It would be very intresting to see if he would zap any of the other students. whee
