Iffen you don't mind... I'd prefer this to be a literary rp... hardcore-lit, or whatever its called. <3 Please speak in full sentances, and include actions.

PS: No godmoding. If you godmod, I will string you up by your toes and desecrate your undead body in unpleasant ways. You are not anyone but yourself. Don't play their actions for them...

--------------------

The view's pretty fantastic from up here.

War and gore spread as far as the eye can see.
But who needs eyes when you're undead...
The scent~ the scent of blood permeates the air like a heavy fog. A delicious fog. The taste rests on the tip of the tongue, clogging the senses, heady like perfume. The taste of death. The taste of mortality. And immortality.

She remembers:

Bat's and birds circled in the sky as the warriors below swayed to the savage rhythm of chaos. They were an ocean, constantly flowing around the base of the brick bulwark. Wave after clamorous wave, the noise on the ground deafened.

But from atop the wall, it seemed somehow distant. As if from another world. Another being entirely. The war continued as countless lives were ended and then reinvented, countless un-lives were restored. Prejudice marking the land forever with the blood of brothers and sisters. But from atop the wall...

It was a play. Entertainment. Disconnectivity ruled and desensitivity reigned, and it was alluring. Captivating. Almost laughable.

And oh so delectable.

Now, however, nothing remains. Its a wasteland of carnage. Dead bodies blanket the ground, corpses that will now and forever remain dead. Weapons are scattered like lives, untold stories left on the battlefield to fodder new growth. Life will come again to this place. Years of weather will wash away the blood, the filth, of this war, until all that remains are the memories. Ghosts that whisper to the winds and haunt the dreams of warriors.

Edgar sits atop the wall, on foot dangling down on either side, contemplating.

"Was it worth it?"

((If you would like this to be a hardcore literate RP, you'd need to spell check your post. It has errors.))

He walked around in the great wall of Gambino. Shinn was just amazed by all the bodies scattered around. He remembered the times when he knew a lot of different people. He saw his friend's corpses all over the place. There was blood everywhere. Vampires staked, humans bitten, multiple curses, and useless bloodshed. Shinn took a few laps around the now dead battlefield. amazed by valuables, he searched around for rage vials. He found plenty of empty ones. Most of them were destroyed by their final will, a life for a life.

After the walk, He sat down and asked himself questions.
"Was it worth it?" "How much lives?" "How much lived?" "How much died?" "What was the profit?" "How much have I killed?" "Can this be called a war, or a massacre?" Shinn was drowned in questions. He felt useless. Hopeless. No light, no dark. Just grey. Eternal grey. Memories. They're worse than injuries. Injuries heal. Memories can be forgotten. But how? The stench of blood will stay. Waiting.. For eternity.. How much time left? How to forget? Different mysteries left unsolved.

Then, he walked around again. He thought about many things over and over again. The most important: Graves to dig. Endless rows of graves. The wall has fallen. Battered by blood, it's beauty tainted with rain. Rain of blood.

Movement caught the corner of Edgar's eye. Something alive, in all this? Some salvageable life? She swung her leg over the rubble, pushed herself off the wall and landed with a muted thud next to a face so mutilated it was beyond recognition. She grimaced, standing up, wiping the muck from the ground on her hands onto her pants.

"'ey!" she called, eyeing the walking stranger with a cautious sense of curiosity. "'ey you! 'oo are you? Ahe you okay?" Her accent wasn't so thick that it made her speech incomprehensible, but it was distinct none-the-less.

She started after him, on her guard. Her steps were light, trying not to tread upon the dead.

After the long thought, He saw movement. Something he thought he would never see. Life. Life in a battlefeild. But, why? Why was someone here? Could it be a slayer trying to stake the elderly? Or perhaps it would be a comrade. But, it was impossible to tell. So Shinn just waited there until life caught up.
He was ready to use his full rage vial.

::Edgar continued to call out to the mysterious form, alive amongst the dead, until it stopped and stood still. Her feet barely touched the ground as she moved towards it, fingers laying gingerly on the cork of her own rage vial in her pocket. Whatever it was, sitting there, waiting for her, she was ready for it. As far as she was concerned, she was the fastest thing "alive", she didn't intend to allow anyone the chance to prove her wrong.

Within 6 feet of the now statue-esque being, she, too, came to a hault.::

'ello? Can y'u 'ear me? 'oo are y'u?

::The thought hadn't just crossed her mind that perhaps this being was unfriendly or potentially harmful to her. She just chose not to hesitate until she had the opportunity to discern who, or what, it was.::

Shinn stood silently while the figure approached up to firing range. In his mind, he thought:
"It's within range. Chance of hit 30%."

He turned with his thumbnail basically inside the cork, ready to open it. But he waited. Waited until he knew what it was. having to wait was painfully annoying to Shinn, and he was very tired. Shinn had filled his rage vial with all the other one Shinn found on the floor.

Shinn turned around at an angle to get a better view. He saw a human like figure. Impossible to tell exactly, he let instinct take over him. He opened his Rage vial. Ready to use Drink Deeply, he hesitated. He waited for the figure to come into view. He knew that it said something to catch his attention, but his ears were interrupted with gusts of wind, and he wasn't able to make up what he was saying.

'Twas a long time ago, longer now than it seems in a place perhaps you've seen in your dreams.

She watched from a distant, hidden by a mound of dead bodies, peeking through the unmatched limbs. She saw two figures slowly approaching each other, both unnecessarily cautious. She could smell, even across this distance, that their blood was full of Vampire ancestry.

"Why do they hesitate so?" she wondered.

Now you've probably wondered where holidays come from. If you haven't I'd say it's time you begun.

::Edgar sighed and closed her eyes, clearing her senses of the death that lingered around them, focusing on the figure standing no more than 6 feet in front of her. She trained her ears on him, listening above the wind. She trained her nose, filtering out the other scents that would complicate her reading. There was a heartbeat. It was faint. Like her own. She stopped breathing. It wasn't necesary. The smell on him was deathlike. But also... very unlike death. He wasn't human, any longer.

Withdrawing her hand from her pocket, she lunged at him, open palmed, a sign of friendship. It was very below her station to do so, so openly. But he was ancient too.::

Friend!

::Her lips didn't part, but the wind carried her voice to him, all around him, filling the entire battlefield with the one, simple thought.::

Shinn tried to cover his ears from what seemed to be a million voices calling: "Friend!" But when his fingers got to his ear, the sound stopped. He found a person standing there with open palms. He closed his rage vial with the cork that was stuck in his thumbnail.

He walked a few steps closer and closed the distance to about 4 feet. He could see the person-- no, vampire clearly. He was just about to give salutations when he picked up a faint scent-- about 20 no, 50 feet away. It was impossible to tell if it was a friend or foe as his nose was not trained. He quickly turned around to face towards the area in which the scent originated from.

Shinn said to the man standing next to him: "Shall we?"

She peered quietly and noticed the silhouetted figures had sensed her. She felt no fear, just suprise, and decided to patiently wait for their actions. She stayed still, hidden behind the mass of bodies, but thought better of it. She slowly raised her head above the mound, and smiled softly. She waved slowly to the two of them, as to not alarm them.

"Brethren!" she called.

::Edgar inclined her head gently, a twitch at the corner of her lips threatening to turn into a smile. She had only just sensed the other presence, but then, she hadn't been trying to until just then.

When the formerly hidden figure stood and yelled to them Edgar breathed a heavy sigh, watching as the oxygen that had gathered cold in her lungs escaped her mouth in a puff of steam. The air outside wasn't cold. It was the air inside her that made the cloud condense into visibility. Sharp, clean fangs were revealed as her lips parted in a broad grin.::

Sisteh! ::she called back, extending her hand towards the other vampire, as though that, alone, would reach across the distance that separated them and bring them all together.

Looking back at the man, she nodded. “’hy yes, I do think ‘e shall”. She held her other hand out to him, not truly expecting him to take it. There was life here, after all. Still, the pungent taste of death was quickly dampening her newly found joy.::

*appears atop the wall in a puff of black smoke, the wind blowing in his face, revealing his solid red left eye, with a slit for a pupil, and draws his sword, watching what is happening below, the edge of the massive broadsword glowing a brilliant red*
................
*silently rests the broadsword on his right shoulder, slowly closing his eyes as well*
ooc: Sorry if it's not literate enough for you. But I try to be quiet enough, and upon arriving, that's all I would do in the first place.
bic:*smells the scent of death in the air, and sighs, realizing he is home, on the battlefield*

Clambering over the masses of bodies on the far eastern side of The gambino wall. Bevi sits upon the corpse of an old friend, with no concern stroking her little bat and cleaning his wings. Vasta was all she had, all she cared about. Her little bat that sat quite comfortably in her lap as she stroked his ears.

'Its a shame that they got to you before I did isnt it Klo?'

She looked at her dead friend's face and stroked her cold cheek briskly leaving a faint smear of blood over it.

'I just wished you would have listened to me, then maybe we could have saved your blood shed.'

She remembers back to when her and Klo were battling. The way Klo had betrayed her, swiping the stake across Bevi's neck, leaving a graze. The force of which Bevi had kicked her neck.. in turn snapping it. The way that Bevi held her body close to her and cried. Just before she left the body to rot for over a month.

'You look different. Have you lost weight? Things would have been alot different had you of trusted me, but no.. Our lives took different paths.'
Getting up off Klo's body. She held Vasta in her hand and picked up her cane.
Upon standing up, she sites 3 figures. Unable to determine, who or what they are. She chose to just sit back down on Klo and continue to rub Vasta's ears.

*continues to watch the others from atop the wall, then senses another being in the area*
Hmph....... Those that can't let go of the dead are doomed to be slaves to the lost.
*turns his head a bit out of pity*
Tis a shame that some just can't let go..........
*jumps down off of the wall, landing behind Edgar silently, his sword still in his right hand, but no longer on his shoulder*
You know, this couldn't have been avoided. It was fate for these battles to happen. The lives that were lost were lost because they were fated to die that way. Trust me, I know. I've lost much on this battlefield.
*closes his eyes, remembering those feelings and emotions he had lost during the war, seeing so many pointless deaths*

Another being came into view. Bevi strained her ears trying to hear the convosation. She was far enough for them to be out of earshot. But she could smell them, she could taste their sorrow. Her ears had always been her weakest sence. As a human she deafended herself constantly with concerts, parties and Mp3 players up loud enough to burst an eardrum.
Although not completely deaf, most things had to be repeated in her right ear.
She figured the only way she could find out what was being said, be it about her or about the battle, she would have to go down and find out the normal way. Social interaction.
She shuddered. She didnt particually like it. But what else could she do? Besides.. She hadnt seen any of her bretheren since the final stand.

'It would be nice to hear their tales of victory' She convinced herself.

'Come Vasta, Let us meet our brothers and sisters' Picking up her pet, she carefully plopped him on her shoulder.
Taking a last look at Klo's corpse. She smiled, picked up her cane. And headed in the direction of the other vampires.
Klo was starting to rot.. If Bevi continued to visit her for much longer, there was no doubt that she would smell.
'Maybe a burial..' Resounded in her mind..
