Any favourite eps so far? Comments? Life at all in this section of the galaxy?
My only comment so far would be to grin at the guest character in the last two episodes... Andrea Yates. Any connection to the captain, I wonder? *grin*

Yes, I watched it. Heh, I watched all of them. Not as good as Doctor Who but it was still good. I hope Sarah Jane comes back onto the show in the gap between series 4 and 5. (Wikipedia says there'll be a year long gap, I think it's 2009, but there'll be 3 bank holiday specials then. Maybe she'll be in those... I hope so!)

Yes, I watched it all and it was great. Sure it had some parts that were a bit lame, but it's much better than Torchwood in my opinion. I'm really hoping they'll commission a second season. Who cares if it's a kids show? I'm 21 (nearly 22) and I loved it. 4laugh

I have a habit of doing that

A few more weeks and it'll be on SciFi. I'm willing to give it a go.
Sure sounds better than that last attempt way back when that failed miserably after just the pilot episode. mrgreen

I thought it was okay but I think it will get better by series two just like what Torchwood did for me.

Series one of Tochwood was good but with every show you don't really get into the story until the second series. Some things I would love to see in this new series of SJA would be to make the episodes more of the length of Torchwood and Doctor Who. Not like the same length of the classic Doctor Who shows before either Peter or Colin(I can't remember off hand) and I would also love to see is the Doctor at least once or bring K-9 out of the black hole business. Oh! And kill off Chrissie. I think she's a b***h >_> and should just leave Maria and Alan alone. Hell, she left Alan for her dance instructor and then comes back and expects Alan to act like she did not cheat on him! I hope she gets what's coming to her.

I enjoyed it. I'm an old Sarah Jane fan, and I love having her back. It is also refreshing to have something a bit less "heavy" than Torchwood (though I love Torchwood), and bringing us back to something closer to the spirit of the original Doctor Who. Her connections are closer to UNIT than Torchwood, but one of the Torchwood aliens visited her in the very first episode, giving her a small handy object to use. I came away from this introductory episode with a couple of questions: aside from the obvious souvenirs of her travels, where did she get all the high-tech gadgets? From the Doctor? From alien visitors? From whom? I read that the sonic lipstick and the interesting watch came fromthe Doctor, but where did she get "Mr.Smith"?

Ceribri My question: what the heck is that alien from Torchwood doing in the first few minutes of SJA? eek It's not the same person. It's just the same species. @Wind-Whisper - yes, there will be an explanation for Mr Smith. Don't count on being entirely satisfied, though.

You must be mad...Is there going to be another season (series) of SJA, and if so when? My kids keep asking and I'd like an answer. ...or you wouldn't have come here.

Yeah, S2 is gonna happen, and longer than S1, but no clue when. Just rest assured there will be a S2.
