i have desided to restart vol. 2 and i need help beating ovan. im level 86, with atoli and endrence at 83. Twin blades:lvl 79 brode:lvl 80 schith:lvl 75

I think the easiest thing to do is just lvl up and get the best equipment available. It would help to carry potions and keep Atoli's SP high.

I was level 100 when I fought Ovan. If you start vol.3 without coversion, your level 93. I'd get there for now. BTW, I fought him solo, so I don't know if I can offer sound advice for a party.

Get yourself and Atoli and Endrance to level 95 and above, then use the spin heaven you got from beating the tournament and watch you HP, set Endrance to rage and Atoli to heal, and only use divine awakening when he summons his orb things.

 Lol good thing this thread was already up. I was doubting of taking on Ovan at lvl 83 since I want to beat vol.2 fast so I can beat vol.3 before school starts x.x Unfortunately I must waste more time on leveling up before going up against him or else I'll waste even MORE time on dying like a retard there. If I die my record will die as well ;3; I'VE NEVER DIED NEVEEEERRR!! I WONT DIE NOW!!! D<

Yeah, Ovan was a total pain in the rear when I fought him at first. Died like 6 times before I realized "Oh, hey! I should PROBABLY go level up!"
xDDD
I was just so anxious to find out what happened next in the story. Am I the only one that the plot twists in .hack has that effect on?

i still am amazed i fought ovan and won against him when i was lv. 87 O.o
i used in my party atoli and endrance both set on free will i was freaked out when i saw how much damage ovan gave me but i won...it freaked me out O.O
