After getting off the phone with the shop owner, it had taken Ka chasing the child around the house a good two or three times (and another couple of bites) before he managed to catch the little one. Then he sat him down on the couch and told him they were going out to talk to someone about just where he had come from and he'd better behave himself. By that point, Ka was tired of it all and not in the mood to mince words.
So now ... he had the boy firmly by one hand as he walked up to the door of the shop, going in and glancing around. He wasn't sure whether he was supposed to just go on into the back or wait out here for the owner...

Ment was sitting at the cash register, coloring something on a pretty piece of paper when Ka and an unknown Scent entered the shop. He quirked his head to the side and hopped off his stool to greet the two. Smoothing out his hair he scuttled up, tugging on Ka's clothing.
"Welcome to Solace Scents! How can I help you sir?"

Ka jumped just slightly and then blinked down at the child. "Ah ... hello..." he said, bending over a bit. "I'm looking for an ... Olivia..? I spoke to her on the phone..." He wondered just who left a child to watch the register at a shop. But then again, this was obviously not a normal shop, in any way.
Meanwhile, Rhiloss had tugged himself free from Ka and was wandering around the shop, head tilted slightly to one side as he looked at everything. With a sudden little smile, he reached out and knocked three or four boxes off a shelf, just to see what would happen.
Ka's head snapped around at that, and he frowned. "Stop that ... come back over here," he said. "Now." With a cold little look, the child did as he was told, but obviously didn't like it.

"'Livia? She's in the back, I'll get her for yo-"
Ment panicked when he heard the boxes fall and looked over at Rhiloss in shick. "What're you doing!? You'll hurt them!" Ment cried, running over quickly to pick the boxes up, check their contents and put them carefully back on the shelves in which they were housed.
Olivia heard the thud of the boxes and came from the back of the store, "What's going on here?! Ment were you playing with that ball in the store again?"
"No it wasn't me, 'Livia, it was the boy with the white hair." Ment said, pointing to Rhiloss who was now standing by Ka.

Upon being pointed at, Rhiloss glared back at Ment and stuck his tongue out, just for a second or two, before going still again - almost unnaturally so. Children didn't just usually ...stand frozen in one place for long periods of time.
Ka sighed softly. "I apologize for him ... I have just now found myself a guardian of this child ..." He paused, shook his head slightly, and started over. "I'm sorry ... I'm Ka'hmesh. We spoke on the phone a little while ago..?

Ment starred at Rhiloss and stuck his tongue out back, except longer and with noises in which good little children shouldn't be making. For his antagination he was rewarded with a swift smack to the back of his head which prompted an "Ow!" from the child plus a long ordeal of head rubs.
Olivia smiled embarissingly and nodded her head to Ka'hmesh. "I believe we did speak on the phone, didn't we?" Olivia attempted to sugar coat the situation abit hoping to make sure she was not shafted with another child. She did not need another child.
"I assume you have quite a few questions..."

In response to Ment sticking his tongue out and making noises at him, Rhiloss just stared coldly at the other boy - almost glaring. Ka glanced down at the child as the smaller hand held in his suddenly got colder.
With a little grimace - hoping Rhiloss couldn't do something like freeze the room or the other child, Ka turned his attention back to Olivia. "Ah ... yes," he replied, looking slightly uncomfortable. "I just ... when I bought the oil burner, I had no idea ... something like this would happen. A ... co-worker of mind kind of strong-armed me into buying it, you see..."

"No one ever does..." Olivia muttered, nodding her head as she listened to Ka's explination of how it happened. "Thing is it doesn't always happen." she explained, looking down at Ment and Rhiloss, "I've sold hundreds of oil burners and oils and only a handful of them have done this..."
Ment pulled out a candy cane from his shorts and shoved it in his mouth, making sure to look like he enjoyed it. It was odd for him to be naturally spiteful towards anyone, but for some reason he couldn't stop himself.

Ka nodded at that, looking just a bit more relieved. There really were quite a lot of oil burners in the shop, and if every single one of the produced a child ... the town would be overrun with them before long. "So I suppose I'm just special then, somehow?" he asked with a wry twist of his lips.
Rhiloss eyed that candy cane for a moment or two, seeming to consider something. Then he grinned almost wildly and leaned over to lick the end sticking out of the other boy's mouth. And then returned to exactly where he had been before, though the grin stayed firmly in place.

"Possibly." Olivia laughed, slightly. "I don't know what causes the children to sprout from the oil burners. Sometimes I honestly do think it's just the people who happen to buy them." She murmured, looking down at Ment, though not glancing down until after Rhiloss had pulled his little stunt. the only thing she noticed was a shocked expression on Ment's little face.
He was indeed shocked, pulling the candy cane out of his mouth and shiving it at Rhiloss. "It's your's now." He scoffed, not wanting it anylonger.

Ka glanced over as well when Olivia did, blinking at the two children. Oh dear... good gods, what was he going to do with this child..?
"Don't want it," Rhiloss said with a little smirk. He'd just wanted to see what the other boy would do.
Which was about when Ka chose to interfere, before things went much farther. "Take it anyway," he said quietly, offering Ment a sort of apologetic smile.

Ment's expression has turned to that of a sourpuss by the time Rhiloss had responded. He was not happy. White haired kids were sappin' his candycanes.
"It's yours now." Ment repeated, pretty much attempting to jut the thing into the boys mouth.
"Ment!" Olivia hissed, grabbing the boys shoulder and pulling him back towards her, "Stop being a brat!"

"Why does it have to be mine?" Rhiloss asked, leaning away from the other child and batting at his hands when he tried to shove the candy at him. Then he quite suddenly froze when Olivia pulled Ment back - glaring at the other now.
Ka winced and put a hand on Rhiloss' shoulder. And his mind went back to something that Olivia had said a few minutes before. "You've sold hundreds..? Just how many of them did ah. Produce children?"

"I'm not sure..." Olivia murmured, looking up at the ceiling for a moment as she crossed her arms, "I can confirm that I have met probably fifteen children since this shop started its business, aside from your joyful little one there. Two of the children frequent my shop several times during the week...Merrick works for me part time to make up for things he broke, and Adrian loiters in my corners."
"He likes the darkness of them." Ment commented, putting on an agonizing face of what he figured Adrian's despair looked like, "He sits there alone in his corner writing poetry about how he hates the world."
"You dress up in little girls clothes..."

Ka nodded slowly, attempting to come to terms with the fact of fifteen ... or rather, sixteen ... of these odd children running about. Or even worse, teenagers. Gods, he remembered some things...
He cut off that thought and smiled faintly. "I suppose you must get people coming in here asking questions a lot whenever new ones show up, hmm?"
"Girl clothes?!" Rhiloss burst out, then pointed a finger at Ment and started laughing.
