Anyone other than me noticed how the songs for the last venue in Lou's Inferno have a slightly hellish theme to them?

"Devil Went Down to Georgia" Has the Devil in there
"Number fof the Beast" Guy dreams of satanic worships and takes part in them
"One" Soldier in war. As the saying goes "War is Hell"
"Raining Blood" Talks of purgatory and being stabbed from things below.

My question is....how does "Cliffs of Dover" fit into this hell theme?

Eric Johnson killed dozens of babies while coming up with the song. That's why it fits in. lol

After reading this post I was curious as well. So I did a wikipedia search:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Cliffs_of_Dover

Quote:
The cliffs have great symbolic value for Britain because they face towards Continental Europe across the narrowest part of the English Channel, where invasions have historically threatened and against which the cliffs form a symbolic guard. Because crossing at Dover was the primary route to the continent before air travel, the white line of cliffs also formed the first (or last) sight of the UK for travellers.

So I guess it's a place where "hell" occurred all the time... making a big stretch, but ok...

I looked it up as well, it didn't quite have a real direct reference to anything though that does make sense.
My thinking was that you can dive from the cliffs and fall into hell or something. But either way, it's a head-scratcher.
Though for all I know they just picked it because it's hard xd

This kinda makes sense.Back in the mid and late 1700's,Dover was in Delaware, but wasn't a city back then.Delaware was a battleground between the colonists and the British.A war. And as you said dude,. "War is HELL."

I just assumed it was because it makes your fingers feel like hell.

It's because after the beginning scaling stuff, it's played in G major.

Unless you've played it constantly Like I have,it doesnt really affect you.The hammer-on and pull-off system is much better than GHII,so if you use that to your advantage in thesong, your fingers wil fly down the buttons and hit most of the notes.

Aruko pretty much said it.
Though it's not the best song, honestly. It sounds nice, but they could've gotten better neutral
