Koji sat on the sandy beach waiting for Kaia. She had told hime to meet her there because she had something to tell him. So he sat there his tail flichering nervously while his ears twiched trying to listen for Kaia.

A blue and white vixen emerged from the sand coated beach bushes, stepping out and glancing around as she stepped onto the sandy ground of the beach. She was looking for her mate, Koji, having some very important news to tell him. "Koji?" Kaia called out with a flick of her ears, walking over to the familiar fox and giving a tilt of her head. Her stomach had rounded out a bit more than usual, giving her the appearance of having eaten so much that she had grown full. She had been hiding out since having gone to the breeding gounds, now wanting to reveal the good and bad news to her mate.

Koji's ears fliked at the sound of the lovely vocie of his mate.. He picked his had up toward her vocie. When he had her in his sight her went to her side quickly. He had been very worried about her. She had vanished after the breeding grounds and he hadn't heard o word of her since. When he got to her side he started licking her wars and her cheek gently.

"Hello Koji, you didn't worry about me too much, did you?" She said with a small smile, giving a murr at the licks she received, then taking a step back and sitting down. "I have something that I need to tell you.." Kaia replied, giving a slight turn of her head away from him then a flick of her tail. "Koji, you're going to be a father." She said softly, giving a slight blush and smiling. Kaia was absolutely delighted at being pregnant with their kits, but was worried about one thing: the moodswings to come.

Koji looked shocked at her when she asked if he hadn't worried about her to much. "Of course i worried about you." he said then went silent when she pulled away from him. His ears flickered when he thought she said something about babies so he asked "Did you just say you are pregnat?"

"...Yes, that's what I said.." Kaia replied quietly, looking over at him with a slightly worried look. She stayed quiet afterwards, not sure if Koji wanted to actually be the father of their kits or not, which worried her greatly.

Koji blinked a couple times then smiled widely as it sunk in. "That's great Kaia. How come you didn't tell me sooner?" he asked as he nodged her closer to him.

Kaia's ears perked up at what he said, her slight worried look turning into a smile, padding closer to Koji and giving him a loving lick on the muzzle. "I hadn't found out till a day or two after we had gone to the breeding grounds. Started to get stomach pains, noticed that I was rounding out a little more than I should have." She answered with a nod, then gave a wag of her tail.

Koji smiled at Kaia before saying "Oh ok... though i wished that you didn't run off afteward the way did." he gave her a couple more affectionet licks.

"Yeah.... I'm sorry about not coming back when I should have, but at least I'm here now." She said with a small smile, giving him a lick on the cheek then wrapping her tail around his. "I missed you while I was gone." Kaia replied, giving him a nuzzle then murring. "So, have you thought of any names for kits yet?"

Koji sighed he really had missed her greatly. "I', not sure what to name them yet," he told her.

"I was thinking of maybe.... Chop? It's short and sort of goes along the lines of both of our names." She replied thoughtfully, then looked over at him. "How many do you think we'll have?"

"Mm.... Probably around that number, I'm glad that we aren't having too many, then it'd be hard to keep track of them all." She said with a soft giggle, then gave him a lick on the nose. "I really missed you when I was gone..... I-it didn't feel right when I was all alone." Kaia replied, giving a light blush at what she said, nuzzling into his fur. "And I think these kiddies missed their Daddy." She added, giving a smile and waving her tail against her stomach lightly.

Koji sighed happly then nuzzled Kaia's round belly softly so he wouldn't hurt her.
