I know I'm not the only theatre geek out there! Post your favorite plays or musicals. And let me know if you're part of a theatre troupe! (I'm with 6968. Man, am I a dork.)

I'm in love with Spring Awakening right now. But I also really like Pippin and The Fantasticks. As far as straight plays go, I just finished 365 Plays/365 Days, by Suzan-Lori Parks. It's pretty hot.

Hmm... I'm not really a theatre geek... But I am a techie... Oh! Oh! Joke! How many techies does it take to screw in a lightblub? ( hint: there is a ring of truth to the answer )

Woah. I'm a techie too (a lighting person, to be exact), and I don't know this joke.

What's the answer? sweatdrop

Six. One to do it, five to stand around and watch.

I don't know how it is where you are, but I find it to be true in a lot of places.

That's so true! I'm usually one of the ones standing and watching. Especially since this one person's dad took over my school's tech department. Our play's going up in two weeks and he hasn't let us touch a single lamp.

You see? I told you there was a ring of truth to it! 3nodding
If it were me in that position I would probably freaked out by now and flipped out at the person's dad so I could do something. sweatdrop Otherwise it's kind of pointless to even show up...

We ended up all being needed, because he wasn't there during the show...AND THE POOL SPRUNG A LEAK OPENING DAY. (We produced Mary Zimmerman's Metamorphoses.)
