It's been forever since anyone's been in here, but I've been working on the project again on my own. So far it's involved some very drastic changes to the rules, a considerable bit more card designing, and this:
 
The card name and effect are just placeholders, to see how the text looks on the cards themselves. The one on the left is for the first few sets - it has more of the 'Classic Gaia' theme - whereas the one on the right accompanies one of the future sets I have planned. The 'classic' one is relatively simple, and it'll be used identically for all cards - the 'modern' one will actually vary in colour by card type - Browse being blue, User being red, Item being something else (I haven't even started thinking about which colour is best for which card type, but Browse seems blue and Post seems yellow-orange - probably because those correspond to Mission and Jutsu cards in the Naruto TCG). If I can get things worked out a little more, I'll come back to pose my new rules ideas, but for now I figured I'd just share the most visible progress... sweatdrop
