Minty sat near the grape soda river. She sat there staring at the gummy fish jumping about in the river. Her Mint colored eyes, swimming in a dark purple ocean, following the colorful fish. She didn't know what today would bring, but she did know it'd happen with her new recent brother. Not by blood, but still her brother. Which is why she was actually at the grape soda river. She knew that he liked it here. He liked to watch the fish swim around, it gathered his attention. Though, they hadn't really talked much, but he was still a pup. She could understand, with the quiet type of personality he had. He was more of the quiet side. When Minty was a pup, she was very active. She'd only hope her brother would grow out of it a little. Potsupotsu, or more commonly referred to Potsu, lied next to his somewhat new sister near the river. He looked at the fish very intently, focused on them and their movement. He got very distracted by movement a lot, which might be considered a weakness. He however, thought it was very interesting to focus on movement very intently. He looked over at his sister, as she also looked at the river. The wind smelling like candy, as it always did. He then looked back at the river, now deciding if he should focus on the ripples of the water or the fish. He decided to continue looking at the fish. Also knowing, that whatever might happen today would happen with the company of his sister.

If he had had a last name, then his middle name would've certainly been ...his first name, and his last name would've been trouble. This is merely because he'd want his first name to be Prince. Prince Gyzii. The trouble was merely an added statement from those that knew him, which was currently zero to none. Lucky them. This particular rascal had a knack for annoying others and being downright snobbish about it. To say he was proud was an understatement; he considered himself the epitome of a prince and no one was higher or mightier than himself. Far off from the truth perhaps, but he had never seen himself any other way.
And so today, as he carried himself royally around the area, observing the ongoings of the others (though today there seemed fewer than usual), his glowing strawberry red eyes encountered two that seemed particularly content with their situation. He felt obliged to go over there and inquire as to their status for it seemed so boring and Gyzii had never understood the meaning of the word boredom. With his royal proclamation decided upon, he took his fluffy self towards them and haughtily cleared his throat, "Excuse me." There was an almost violent edge to his tone. "What, may I ask, seems to be so very interesting about this river?" It wasn't a polite question, it was a demand. And he looked highly impatient for an answer.

Minty looked over at the sound of a voice. Hmm, had she seen this Coffee Numa before? He did however had interesting markings. The markings were kinda nice. She analyzed the Numa carefully before speaking to him. "The gummy fish in the rivers movement." She said, giving him a smile. Soon after the breeze picking up a little. "If you look at it, it's quite elegant." She said, her tail starting to move about a little. She was very kind, and would talk to anyone. Giving anyone a chance, until they might do something unfortunate. Potsu pretty much ignored the new Numa. He hadn't really heard him, for he was paying to much attention to the fish in the river. He was much of the people person. Unless someone made conversation with him first. If Minty hadn't been there, he might've answered the Numas question eventually. Not quite as fast as his sister did. Though, he wasn't one to distrust someone quickly. He'd trust someone first, before he'd distrust one. You'd have to prove to him that there was something he couldn't trust about you. You might say that was a good quality, or him just being a fool.

If ever Gyzii looked startled, it was then. Gummy fish? Absurd! That was absolutely preposterous. How could someone be so intensely interested and amused by the doings of fish in a river. And elegant, says she. That's even crazier. Really there was nothing elegant about fish. They were for eating if you needed a practicality. Otherwise, they simply existed. He'd never found anything to like about them, per say.
Haughtily he shook himself a little, as if trying to air out his fur of the insanity surrounding him, and then lifted his head regally upon them. Tilting it ever so slightly, because even a prince-figure had to be kind to the... stupid... as he believed them to be, he nodded a bit gravely. "I'm not sure how one would find such useless things... elegant, and frankly I think you're quite strange but then again, it's really not my business to care." And he shrugged it all off. He really didn't care at all about what other people did, merely why they did it. And now that he'd found out, he was annoyed with the lack of interest and was going to promptly leave soon.
However, something was bothering him... what was it? Oh! The lack of response from the tinier Numa sitting by the rivers edge. Arching his eyebrow a little, he stared with hard eyes at the pup. "Is there something wrong with him?" He seemed a bit disgusted by the very idea that one could focus on something so very intently.

Minty didn't think of her or her brother as strange. She, however, was starting to think this new Coffee Numa was a bit strange. He was the one asking her the question, and he's not one to care. What was the point of him asking them in the first place? She was a bit confused by his action. But she'd get over it. She then looked at Potsu, and back at the Coffee. "Of course there's nothing wrong with him." She said, getting a little defensive for him. She shouldn't have though, as he was just asking a simple question. "He is just very interested in movement." She added. Potsu wasn't really paying attention to what his sister, or the Coffee was talking about. However, he also didn't think him being so interested in the fish was odd. But I guess he could understand when someone could only see the obvious. As he thought this Coffee could only do. Potsu got up and sat next to his sister. Looking at the oddly marked Numa. "It is better to look at things-" He paused, thinking of the rest of his sentence. As this seemed to happen to him often. "at what they aren't then-" He paused again. This habit seemed to irritate himself very much. "what they really are." He finished saying. He saw his sister look at him from the corner of his eye, a little surprised.

Pfh, well that was about the stupidest thing Gyzii had ever heard. His crimson eyes narrowed a little and he shook off his front paws for a moment, again seeming to try to air out himself from the surrounding company. Yes, he'd asked first but still, it was only curiosity. He really didn't care for very much. Instead, he'd rather pick on the downtrodden and make himself known for the power he believed himself to be.
He was annoyed, to say the very least. "Are you sure? He can't speak properly nor are his words meaningful." There was a bit sneer in the tone of his words, though his face still remained the same as it had been in the beginning. Strange, strange.

Minty was getting a bit annoyed now. She didn't show it on her face, but she was. She had never felt annoyed towards anyone yet, her was her first. She didn't like that he thought there was something wrong with her brother. If she could say, there was something wrong with him. Just because Potsu couldn't speak well yet, doesn't mean there ish anything wrong with him. He was a perfectly fine the was he was. Minty got a little in front of her brother, as if Gyzii was a threat. "Of course there's nothing wrong. He speaks wise words, maybe you should take them to heart." She said, implying that maybe he shouldn't be so quick to judge a book by it's cover. Potsu didn't really care much for the Coffees words. He knew he'd meet up with a Numa like this one sooner or later. "Not everyone you meet-" He started, pausing. Waiting for the words to come out of his mouth. "will be like you." He finished. Even though Potsus speech wasn't well, he knew what he was talking about. Though, he hadn't seen his sister be so protective. It was very odd to see her that way.

"And why should they, hm?" He said sneering outright now. "If they were like me, then I wouldn't get anywhere at all. Besides, no one is better than me so it wouldn't make a different who seemed like me. Ponder that in your little brain." He added snobbishly. Those eyes of his seemed to burn with the need to both show off and protect himself. The words of the young pup were highly irritating. Wise? Hah! He was just a little brat who couldn't speak one part of the sentence with the rest! What was wise about that? And the way she was becoming all defensive? Couldn't he defend himself? Weaklings, the both of them. It was almost silly to watch.

Minty was now basically watching the situation. She knew Potsu could handle himself. He was very smart, nothing could really phase him when it came to words. Even though his speech wasn't well, that wasn't one of his weaknesses. She was very proud of her brother for standing up for himself. She didn't want to ruin it. Potsu looked the Numa up and down. No one better then him? Potsu begged to differ. Anyone thinking they were better then everyone else got to Potsu. That was one thing he disliked a lot. But he couldn't really hold anything against him just yet. Showing off his very disliked personality wouldn't make him distrust someone. Just, not like they very much at the moment. Potsu looked into the Coffees eyes, a bit darker then his. "You shouldn't think-" His words paused again. How annoying this was. "You're better then others." He finished. Wise words for those who needed them. Thinking you're better then others only gets you disliked. "Most don't like that." He said without pausing. He then stepped a little more in front of Minty.

"Nobody likes to be a loser, but they live don't they? It's not as if I can help that I'm better," he snapped back in a very fiercely conceited manner, extremely annoyed with the other's way of speech by now. "I needn't think it if it is the truth, merely I believe it." He gave a small shrug of his furry shoulders and tilted his head back as if he was about to give a royal sermon to a large group of subjects. However, no words came from his muzzle and he was silently leering at the others.

Potsu scanned the coffee again. He hadn't met a Numa like this one before, and he didn't like his attitude very much either. Numas like him go nowhere, so Potsu thought anyway. He looked at his sister, then back at the Coffee. "And what makes you-" The pause again, and how annoying it kept getting. "better then everyone else?" He asked, in a somewhat interested tone. It's not that he wanted to hear the coffee talk more, but he wanted to hear his reason. He was sure it's be as absurd as him saying he was better then everyone else. That was possibly one of the most absurd things he has heard. Almost as crazy as the theory of aliens. He waited intently for the Coffees answer. Minty was just pretty much standing in the background. She knew her brother could handle himself, and she didn't want to get in his way. She'd probably only make things worse. As she wasn't that great in handling confrontation. If it got to far, she might turn all crazy on the Coffee, and she didn't like when that'd happen to her. So, she let him handle it. Plus, she'd rather stay happy, then get involved. However, she was still keeping a close on him them.

"What about me doesn't?" He returned quickly with a vicious ferocity. To him, it was a natural reaction to defend his so-called crown. He believed that no one existed better than him, and so why should he have to prove himself? He was faster, fiercer, handsomer and more amazing than any other Numa, was he not? Of course! So why should he even be forced to deal with such rudeness? "Hmph, not as if you deserve a proper answer." Snobbishly he stuck up his nose, narrowing his eyes.

Potsu looked at Gyzii a bit rudely. With an attitude like that, it was quite obvious there were a lot of there Numa way better then he was. He despised attitudes as he was dealing with now. He didn't even give him an answer to Potsu's question, only proving he had no reason that he was better. "One thing that doesn't make you better, your attitude. You should work on that." Potsu said nodding. He was sure there were other problems, but that was all he had showed Potsu so far.
