Blue eyes darted back and forth as the small cub-like creature dashed through the vegetation; her lithe form hid against leaves and behind tree trunks randomly, and though her pelt was of a vivid blue, she was (surprisingly enough) doing quite a good job at it too. It wasn't till she reached a random tree that a small white snake appear, rearing up to face her, his tongue coming in and out, "You found me!" squealed the cub as she danced about the white-hued reptile, "My turn! My turn!" she continued; it was noticeable at the small lioness was excited for the both of them, for as she pranced, the reptile seemed to content himself by lowering his form to the floor, watching her calmly before slithering over to her, coiling his form up her leg to settle himself around her neck, "No more?" she asked, however, Muhali received no answer, aside from a slight blink, the snake turning his gaze to look at her for just a second before closing his eyes, obviously settling in for a rest, "Awwwwww.... but I wanna play more! I wanna-"

And then, she paused, mid-sentence, her form frozen, something akin to recognition passing over her features as her wings dissolved into nothing, a blurr of blue left where they'd once been. After the moment passed, Muhali dashed through the trees at top speed, her lithe form dodging the plants right and left, jumping up and ... burrowing down below upheld roots till she reached her destination; she plunged herself through some trees and into a clearing, her teeth bared, her claws unsheathed, "RAWWWWWWWR!" she proclaimed as she launched herself at the large green figure in front of her.

Ushaufu had been enjoying a quiet afternoon, sitting calmly within one of the clearings the Mistweaver territory had to offer; he'd not been dealing with anything important, really. The talk he'd been sharing with his mate, Kizuka, whom sat just a half a meter away, had been idle; nothing all too specific. Random facts and thoughts for the future, the past and the present. Thus was why the sudden cub-like roar from behind startled Deception so; he jumped to his feet just as Muhali landed on his back, "The bloody ******** style="color: blue">"GASP!" came the female's voice from behind, her blue arms having come to settle around the male's neck, "YOU SAID A BAD WORD!"

Still very much startled, Ushaufu made a show of actually circling around himself, eyes wide as he tried to get a look at... whatever had landed on his back, "The ********?!" he echoed again as he found he could not, in fact, see anything, for the small female had placed herself on his blind spot.

"YOU SAID IT AGAIN!!" her wings appeared then, batting a few times as the god bucked beneath her, looking much like a wild horse; the batting of her wings kept her securely on his back however, and never once did she (or the snake curled around her neck) fall, "Do it again! Do it again!" her words were laced with giggles as Ushaufu stopped the bucking and merely stood stock still in the middle of the clearing, his eyes dashing towards his mate, silent question ringing in his eyes, for though Muhali knew him.... Ushaufu had no idea whom this small creature er .... ridding him, was.

Kizuka stretched herself upon her little patch of sunlight. She'd been enjoying the idle chatting, the lounging, the all around just be-ing. It was rare that she and Ushaufu had the chance to simply laze about together. Needless to say, she was highly startled, and more than a little offended, when the sky chose that moment to fall. Especially fur-raising was the fact that it felt the need to drop upon her mate. Unlike Ushaufu, Kizuka had a perfect view of what it was. Size wasn't something that had ever mattered to Kizuka in judging age, especially where supernatural beings were considered (at least not since meeting Ushu) and her eyes narrowed at the sight.

Outbursts the style of her mate weren't Kizuka's thing, really. Actually, outbursts in general weren't something she was much inclined towards, but this pushed it. After a few moments of watching what would have been a hilarious sight had she known Muhali, the mistweaver strode forward to block her mate's frantic path. Holding up a paw to stop him, she leaned in to growl into Muhali's face. "Off. Now."

"You probably don't wish to be threatening her, Miss," A deeper voice greeted from behind the both of them. Kizuka's eyes glanced towards the forest where, from seemingly no where, a darker blue shape emerged. This lion was a strange looking one, snow capped and bejeweled, and quite large. Where the Goddess draped over Ushaufu's back was tiny, this one was a giant. He towered, lean and strong, over Ushaufu's own form by at least a head. By comparison, Kizuka herself looked like a cub and Muhali one that hadn't even been born yet. The lioness know she and Ushaufu would be ill matched if there were a fight over this, and so she backed off a step.

She was no longer the quiet, god-fearing mortal she'd once been, however. "I wouldn't if she'd get her hands off of my mate," She replied rather bluntly, "I believe I'm right in saying that neither of us appreciate it."

Ukata'zaji stared down at the mortal who was his brother's mate. He almost wanted to laugh, only it wasn't really that funny. He didn't blame the female for being upset, however; in her most delicate of positions he likely wouldn't have been too kind to an immortal acting in such a way to Ushaufu, either. Of course, Ukata knew that Muhali was only playing--it was about the only thing that she COULD do--but to the other two it wouldn't quite seem that way. To this lioness it was probably the representative of fear itself. Amusing, and yet not.

The larger God contented himself with a smirk thereafter, attention turned towards his brother and... companion. "Muhali, I don't think Ushaufu is in a playing mood right now." He glanced at his brother. "Truth's been here, hasn't she?" Ukata tipped his head towards Kizuka to further his meaning.

"I'm not hers, if that's what you mean," Kizuka snapped in return, earning a slight look of surprise from Ukata. "Preferring honesty doesn't automatically make me her minion, or under her persuasion, especially it is only a preference."

"So who might you, ah, 'belong' to then?"
Ukata responded with a slight chuckle. Kizuka, however, did not answer. She glared once more at the striped one still alighted upon Ushaufu's back, then plopped herself down to clean her ruffled fur. Ukata gave a slight chuckle, then returned his sight to the 'playing' pair, "Ushaufu," he gave a nod.

Amusingly enough, rather than be disturbed by the fact Kizuka was pressing her nose to her, the cub-like creature smiled wider, opened her mouth and gave the lioness a long, wet lick, "Pretty!" she purred, just as Uka stepped into the clearing. The male's warning rang through the clearing, and while silence surrounded them, Muhali lifted her head to greet a small butterfly, her nose wiggling in the air; indeed, Uka had by now discovered that it was best to leave the small female on cloud nine. Things got nasty when she was forced to leave her little world of bliss; not that anyone would have guessed as much, however, Denial's words were enough to stop Ushaufu from any further movements.

Taking little heed to what Kizuka was saying, the blue female remain perched on the green god, her head tilting to one side, and then towards the other before Uka stepped in with some more, rather well placed words, "Okay!!" the effect was, amusingly enough, immediate, and Muhali released her grip on Ushaufu, sliding down his back and to the ground, skipping quite contently to the side, where a large flower had bloomed. The snake that had remain contently around her neck took that moment to slither off her form, moving across the grass till he had coiled before the remaining three lions. Cold eyes regarded them before he opened his mouth and bared is fangs, almost a warning before talking, "Brave mortal, to talk to the goddess in such a way..." the words were barely a whisper, a hiss as the reptile spoke, his eyes moving to land on Uka, narrowing slightly before it started to slither away and back to Muhali, whom had, in fact, not even noticed it's absence, "Irrationality should not be disturbed," it told them before slithering up Muhali's paw and back around her neck. Needless to say, the goddess herself was much too preoccupied with the large flower she'd basically stuffed her nose into to notice any of this.

"Irrationality?" finally having regained his sense of pride, the male shifted so he was as far away as he could from the small goddess while still remaining by his mate's side, "What exactly is her- their," he corrected swiftly, "Problem anyhow?" he mumbled, referring to both snake and goddess, his paw coming up to brush his mane (or lack-there-of) back into place. Staying out of the talk about his sister he grumped and groomed himself back into... well, as much of a 'perfection' as he'd ever achieve, "She belongs to me," this was said almost as soon as his brother spoke, "She's MY mate. She's mine, as I am hers," a pause before he frowned slightly, ears pinning back only momentarily, "Ukata'zaji," he wasn't exactly impressed, nor did he feel threatened by Denial's large form (after all, he'd never been violent, and tell truth, both usually got along rather well), so thus he stood his ground quite well.

It was likely due to this that he missed Muhali's approach, her form barely even a third of Ushaufu's, however, her presence and aura, having changed slightly, overwhelming that of the green god's, "Taking a mortal for a mate is rather irrational," she informed quite bluntly, moving till she had placed her back against Uka's belly, her head tilting as she regarded the odd couple before her, "What will you do when she exhales her last breath, Ushafu?" it was clear something had changed; the cub-like personality seemed missing, replaced by something... else, "We are forever; mortals," she said as she watched Kizuka, "Even the prettiest of strongest of them, are merely a breath within a God's life. It won't last forever - it will hurt, till you will not be able to breathe... it will hurt till it kills you too, when she is gone," her gaze slid up to watch Denial, "It will hurt forever," a pause as she arched a brow, "You and him, both seems to love denial," and this said she moved away from Uka, her eyes suddenly sparkling again as a dragonfly fluttered before her vision.

And just as soon as it'd come, the... something, was gone, replaced by cub-like giggled as the insect landed on her nose, "Uka, it tickles!"

Ushaufu instantly decided he didn't quite like this goddess; the hair along the nape of his neck had stood on edge as she'd talked. There was something almost sinister in her eyes as she'd spoken; maybe both the snake and his brother had been right about threatening this one, "I don't care; I know what I'm doing..." sitting up straighter, the god frowned.

"Sing song, sing song," came the chant from the cub to the side, her eyes sparkling up at them, full of mischief, and perhaps knowledge, "Sing song, sing song... the little green beast has no idea what's to come and soon, the big white lie will eat him right up~~ No one can escape the truth of life and death."

Kizuka frowned at the entire scene. She wasn't so stupid as to not have thought of the fact that she was mortal and Ushaufu, frankly, was not. Indeed, she thought the reminder more than a little rude--especially as Ushaufu seemed perfectly happy in his state of denial and didn't wish to be woken from it. ... at least not sooner than he had to be. The lioness fought a bit of a chill at that thought. Like most mortals, she didn't welcome the thought of death, even if she accepted the inevitability on a logical level. She was indeed, as Ushaufu thought, a child of Truth.

It made a queer sort of logic, ironically, that this was irrationality. She was certainly flighty enough and, Kizuka added with a touch of bitterness to her thoughts, insane. Some part of her knew perfectly well that "irrational" was merely a polite term for the disturbed. This rude little thing was certainly that, if not more... Kizuka shook her head, realizing that she was bothered to the point of thinking in circles. Where was the point of that? So, Kizuka snorted and turned her nose up and away from the tiny goddess and snake alike. It wouldn't get close enough to strike her, especially not with the distance it would have to cross to get to her. She doubted, somehow, that Muhali would care to do anything at all to her. That was at once a blessing and a curse.

Ukata gave the slightest snicker at Kizuka's reaction, though he was himself a little worried over it. He didn't deny, for once, that Muhali had a point, but he also didn't see the need for her to say such a thing. It was a rude subject to bring up, at best, and flat out cruel at worst. Though he knew the goddess well enough to say that she didn't mean it maliciously, it was quite obvious that Kizuka, at least, had taken it in such a fashion. There wasn't much point in talking to her about it, or chiding as it were, for Muhali likely wouldn't understand. ... and that damned snake of hers was likely to take offense; touchy little b*****d.

The gargantuan, by comparison, lion settled himself in the brittle grasses of Umande'mfuni. He'd passed over the area quite a few times in his travels, though he'd never settled in it. It'd always looked so dead he'd thought there wasn't a point, even if he'd been meaning to visit his "brother" for quite some time. He was a little surprised to see a little peeking green near the roots of the grasses, though it was likely any lion who lived there wouldn't have yet noticed the change. Things that took so much time, such as rejuvenation, were hardly noticeable to those who had to live with it constantly, after all. The truth of that was slightly tied to his realm and so Ukata paid attention to it, but the ties were slight and nothing that needed messing with. Indeed, it didn't even need to be pointed out at this time; they'd realize it soon enough.

"Of course you do," He mollified his brother, reaching out a paw to "slap" the male's shoulder in a companion-like fashion. Ukata shot one more look to Muhali, a very obvious 'shut your mouth' sort of gesture, then grinned at his brother. "So, this is the girl, hm?"

The turning of the conversation was blatantly obvious, and should be to even one so oblivious as Muhali, and Ukata turned his falsely beaming expression on the mistweaver. In return Kizuka offered him a level look but no word. "I don't fault you."

"And what might that mean?" Kizuka replied, the fur at the nape of her neck lifting though her tone stayed even. Normally she was the one who kept her cool, at least visibly if not in truth. Muhali had riled her to a point of blind anger, something that her mate would easily see. In fact, it radiated off of her still-thin form, and worked its way into the twitch of her tail and ears. Still, she did not act on it.

"Only that I can see what he'd be attracted to,"
Ukata chuckled. "I'm not so blind to social niceties as my companion, here.. though I still warn you against attacking her. No matter how much she might deserve it at the moment."

Amazingly enough, and for whatever given reason, no doubt one Ushaufu and Kizuka would never have been able to put their finger on, the goddess smiled up at Ukata and actually listened to his silent plea. In fact, not only did she listen to and thus remain silent on the subject of matter, but she padded over to him and nestled herself in an innocent position between his legs, content to watch for the time being.

Of course... she knew things that Ukata did not, and had her own reasons for voicing her concerns about the matter, but for all their sakes, she'd remain silent about it. Specially for Ukata's sake, and the sake of everyone's logical sanity. Hers was just about gone, so she really didn't fear for hers, alas, there were others' at stake. An ear perk, her head tilting to one side as she watched the males' 'bond' per say before her very eyes; in fact, she had half a mind to voice a question when she stopped herself, her paw coming to tap her chin as she seemed to ponder twice about it. This was rather out of character for her, actually, for she was well known for being almost rudely blunt, as had been proved only moments before. Muhali never did it out of malice however, instead picking the almost childish viewing of life as a route... her mind was like that of a child's in some ways, and a perfectly grown up one in others.

It made her hard to dissect at best.

In fact, Ushafu, whom prided himself in being an excellent judge of character, was having and increasingly hard time at doing just that; even as he delt with Denial (in more ways than just one), his red hued gaze kept on sweeping down to regard the small goddess that remain contently nestled between Ukata's legs. He'd come to notice that this one... wasn't exactly like he'd been; she wasn't stuck in a child's body. Oh no... her body was that of an adult, just merely small, which struck him as extremely odd. What kind of goddess, would manipulate herself to be small like that? Was it a means of defending herself?

Lost in quiet thought, he missed Ukata's first few words; in fact, he wasn't aware of him talking till the large paw flopped itself upon his shoulder, making him twitch slight, "Yeah," the reply was gruff, signaling he'd been lost in the labyrinth of his mind; it took him several more minutes to focus his attention on Ukate, his expression blank, almost grim, "When have you ever faulted me?" he drawled, arching a brow. If anything, Ukata had always been the one to back him up, regardless of the situation at hand. That aside... he wasn't the one to have fallen in love with Truth. Ukata of all people knew what it was to fall in love; love was blind (and Ushaufu had half a mind to think it was deaf and silent too, to boot - It lacked all senses).

A pause followed after which his gaze lowered back to Muhali, "Companion, hmmm?" there was a silent question within that mere word, his gaze sliding up to look Ukata in the eye, a brow arching. After all, he'd never heard his 'brother' to take up a companion, even a travelling one. But then again, this was Denial he was talking to; he wasn't quite expecting an answer. Shaking off the other male's paw (though obviously not grumpily, or otherwise), he padded over to where Kizuka was still seen to be seething; his instincts demanded he sooth her down, and it was that strange logic that told him that feeling his body against hers might just do the trick. Or rather, enough to keep her from pouncing. Leaning in, he closed his eyes and whispered something into his mate's ear, low enough that neither of the other gods heard, then turned to watch them with a hooded eyes, his head calmly tilted to one side. For once, it was clear whom was keeping clam, but regardless of the fact... Ushaufu and Kizuka made a good team; when one was exasperated, the other seemed to remain calm. It was balanced.

Muhali picked that moment to talk, her nose lifting in the air, wiggling as she sniffed, "Life," she said, though what she meant with that word was impossible to tell, "It will be a good place for cubs in due time," of course, she was referring to the Mistweaver territory itself, but it was hard to tell. She'd chosen to remain silent about what Ushaufu had implied, avoiding the subject, or perhaps she hadn't understood? It was hard to tell.

"Yes, companion," Ukata replied gruffly towards his brother's inquiry. He frowned slightly, "And I've faulted you plenty of times, I merely backed you in your faults."

"That doesn't make any sense," Kizuka muttered from her place nearby. She'd settled near the outskirts of their circle, frowning at the grass at her feet. With a hasty tongue she smoothed ruffled fur along her chest, but it didn't stop the fact that she was quite disturbed and angry and just... did not like these two. At least the small one--the male she had no real opinion on.

"Not usually, no" Denial replied with a smirk. He cast another long look to the splotched female, then grinned towards his brother. "But we're all in a bit of denial."

Despite the small goddess odd remark, Ushaufu merely arched a brow; it was amazing that for once, he was displaying the maturity and sly nature his domain should have provided when dealing with events now past, "Hmmm..." it was a noncommittal sound, directed mostly at Uka but also at the goddess' words, "If you say so, I'm not one to question Denial," he'd been living there for so long. Of course, seeing as he was talking to Denial himself, for the larger god to deny something... wouldn't be all that far fetched.

A snort from Ushaufu as he ran his tongue over his mate's pelt; Denial, in denial, who'd have thought, "Whatever; is there a reason for the visit?"

Muhali tilted her head so she could look up at Uka from her position, then smiled, almost like the cat that had eaten the canary, "It makes sense to me," she informed them, but then again, when did anything that made sense to muhali ever make sense to the world around her?

"Everything makes sense to you," Ukata looked down at the lioness between his paws with something akin to an affectionate smile and voice. At least, as affectionate as the persnickety male ever got. He leaned down to nibble a matt out of her fur, then flicked his ears at his brother.

"I told you, we're looking for Truth. Have you seen her?"

"Not recently," Kizuka replied, perhaps a bit too harshly. As used as she was to dealing with Gods, these two were far from the 'norm' of that. ... How odd, to consider THAT a norm. She leaned into her mate and tried not to look too pissy.

"Not everything," a confused expression crossed the blue female's features, "I don't get..." there was a pause, as if she was hesitating, then she snapped her mouth shut and looked away, blinking. It was obvious she wasn't going to continue whatever train of thought she'd interrupted. At least for the time being. As his maw descended on her, she raised her head so that her nose brushed his maw almost in a kiss, yet agonizingly innocent, before she turned her attention to Ushaufu.

A shake of the male's head was the gods' answer at first, and then, "No; she left for the oasis after talking to me, and that was a while back," a pause before he wrinkled his maw; he loved his ister, really, but her domain had clashed with his so harshly while growing up that he could not help the distaste, "And good riddance," he said, though lacking malice. A sigh racked his frame as his mate seethed and leaned against him.

Ukata raised a brow at his companion's aborted comment, but said nothing. He had a fair idea of what she had been about to say, and was glad she'd chosen to refrain. Provoking the mortal would have resulted in a very dead mortal far before its time, but provoking Ushaufu to such an extent... well. God wars were never pretty. "I see.. well, I suppose we'd better head in that direction then. I think, Muhali, its time we drew this visit to a close...."

He nodded to his brother, and got up, turned and headed out into the forest without another comment. Ushaufu would likely think nothing of it; it was denial's way to leave without preamble or fuss.

Kizuka scowled and made an affronted noise. "I need to go track down Kimaji," She muttered and headed into the opposite direction.

Muhali remain where she'd been sitting, however, no sooner had Uka raised himself from the floor that the goddess followed suit, pausing just briefly to send Ushaufu a cryptic look. This done, she vanished after Denial.

A sigh was released from the green male as he shook his head, and then slowly stood to trail after his mate.
