 Blackened wings carried the equally black kitsu through the starry night. From the ground, he'd be hard pressed to see, except for the odd disappearance of a star. His gentle eyes scanned the ground below, looking for someone, or something. His mind still fluttered with thoughts of Valefor. A smile spread accross his features, albout unseen because of his white face. He soared casually, there had to be someone around, it wasnt that late, was it? He shrugged lightly and kept an eye out.

 Freedom was something enjoyable for sure. And ever since big brother India had allowed her the freedom to roam on her own, she had. Taking in the sights was something she often did when not hanging out with her little brother or friends. Tonight was no different.
Fireflies danced around her. Every once in a while she would chase one, laughing until it escaped. Cyan eyes would watch it forelornly as it left her, soaring into the sky. Pouting as another playmate left, she sighed, flopping onto her side in the grass. "Nadeshiko is bored with fireflies..." she muttered to no one in particular, looking up into the sky. The feathers tied around her neck fell to the side with her breathing and she shut her eyes, sucking in a deep breath of fresh night air.

Gentle golden eyes spotted Nadeshiko. Another smile came to his painted face, he steered down, and landed gently by the resting female. He folded his black wings against his back, and padded towards her. "You're out late my friend" he said softly, bowing his head in greeting.
After a moment he sat down, tails swaying softly as he watched her movements. To him, she always portrayed innocence and all that was pure. He believed with all his heart, that she was in-capable of a single ill thought. He also knew, he'd always have a special place in his heart for her, and would always, always seek to keep her safe.

The weight of the night was calming. Despite her best efforts, she could feel herself beginning to drift, breathing beginning to slow and tails listlessly twiching at the tips. The landing next to her had been so quiet that she hadn't noticed a thing. However, it was impossible to stop the excitement that surged through and immediately woke her tired form when the familiar voice met her ears out of no where.
"Crow!" She called happily, jumping up from the ground just as he sat. "Nadeshiko missed Crow so much!" How long had it been? But no matter how much time passed, she couldn't keep herself from looking to the rafters every time she entered the HQ. "Where has Crow been?" She asked, nuzzling against him.

Crow couldnt help but chuckle and wrap a wing around the lighter female. The smile still present upon his features. "And i've missed you, my dear friend" he nuzzled her cheek lightly, purring. "I've been exploring, making new friends..." his thoughts drifted again to Valefor, and he purred again, before returning his thoughts to Nadeshiko "How have you been Nadeshiko?" he asked, smiling proudly at her.

A mirrored purr rang in her throat. It'd been so long since she'd seen him. If she could've lifted a wing to wrap around him, she certainly would have. Another round of nuzzling would have to do, though. Tails flicked happily as she backed up a bit to converse. "Nadeshiko has been good! Nadeshiko made new friends, too." Friends were the Kitsu that made life lots of fun. She had so much more fun with them than she did on her own. "Did Crow have fun on Crow's adventure? Who are Crow's new friends?" The questions came out quick and excited. She wanted to know all about what he'd done while he was away. Even though she hadn't seen him, she would still be happy as long as he had been.

He couldnt help but chuckle. He'd almost forgotten her Mirroring, he then made a vow to himself, to be around more. "I'm glad to hear you've been making friends! One can never have too many" he said with an honest grin. "I had fun on my adventures, yes" he said with a nod "I've met someone....." he said softly, a grin creeping along his maw "Someone i like alot"

Her head bobbed up and down in complete agreement. Never too many friends. Never. Dark hair swished in front of her eyes after the movement before finally calming as she listened. Ears were strained forward, extremely intent. Met someone. Yes, yes, he'd told her that. Another nod. However, at the end of his statement, she looked blank. The gears of her slower-than-most mind turned carefully, locking words with meaning. Oooooh. A grin slipped to her maw and tails wagged. A strangely 'I get it' look came to her face. Romance was not lost on her, it just took her longer to understand.
"Crow like-likes someone!" She shouted, tails flicking even faster now. It was just like big brother India and Chroma. She'd been jealous at first, but relaxed once she realized her brother's mate hadn't been trying to steal him away. "Crow like-likes someone!" She repeated, giggling. "Nadeshiko wants to know who Crow like-likes."

Crow chuckled lightly, tails swaying softly. He nodded his head in a gentle matter. "I suppose thats one way to look at it" he said with a grin. "Her name is Valefor. She's been a dear friend to me for a long time, and now, i feel something more" he said softly, his heart beat fast just at the thought of her. Ah, what a fickle mistress love is. What it does to you, what it makes you do...how it lifts you up high. He shook his head softly, and turned his gentle eyes, back to Nadeshiko, another dear friend of his.

The name Valefor was taken in with a nod. Names never left her mind once she knew them, one thing she was good at remembering. There was no face to put with the name yet, but it would always be there and she would always know that the name, Valefor, went with the one that Crow like-liked. Tails slowed in their wave to mirror his and she grinned, cyan eyes shining. "Nadeshiko wants to meet Valefor." In her own innocent way, it was more of a demand than a request. No matter how long it took, she would meet this other female. After all, if he liked her, then she must be nice. And even if she didn't realize it, her subconscious wanted to make sure she was good enough for her feathered friend.

Crow nodded his head, watching Nadeshiko. "And I would like for you to meet her" he said with a small bow of his head "I consider you a dear friend, and would be honored if you two would get along." he chuckled lightly and tilted his head "Does Nadeshiko like-like anyone?" he asked with a crooked grin

Good, good. She was glad he agreed. And even more so when he assured their friendship. It made her feel happy and warm. Tails waved faster in responce. Only to slow as she looked up at him curiously, canting her head. Did she like-like anyone? Well, she had lots of friends she liked. But honestly, she didn't take the time to think of any of her friends that way. Did she? Questioning eyes narrowed gently as she thought. "Nadeshiko isn't sure," she said, snapping out of her quiet musing and tilting her head to the other side now. Sometimes it felt difficult to understand her own feelings.

Crow, mimicked her, and cantered his head to the side. He understood, how you could be confused when emotions were involved. When emotion was present, nothing made sense. He chuckled lightly "One day Nadeshiko dear, you will find someone you like-like. And once that happens, nothing will make sense" he laughed. Love didnt make things easier to understand, it complicated things, but in a good way. And he wished with all his heart, that she would one day understand Loves true embrace.

Nothing will make sense? She giggled along, though she wasn't quite sure what to think. Things were hard enough for her to understand now. Like-liking someone sounded like it would make things worse. But then again, he didn't seem to upset by it. In fact, all the like-like relationships she'd seen in her life were all happy. Maybe not understanding wasn't always so bad. But still... "If nothing makes sense, then how will Nadeshiko know if Nadeshiko like-likes someone?" That part confused her the most. She was afraid she would miss something.

Crow chuckled again, and wrapped a wing around her, giving her a quick hug and a grin "There isnt a way to describe it, but trust me, you'll know." he said nodding his head, with a grin. "Things change when you like-like someone, nothing stays the same, everything changes for the better though, if its ment to be"
