Bella is a female, obviously. And like most females, there is a certain time of the month.
So what happens at that time of the month when she's surrounded by vampires?
If she gets a paper cut, and Jasper loses control, how does he control himself otherwise?
Blood is blood, no matter where is comes out.

Anyone have any ideas?

Bella is a Sue, so there IS no time of the month.

Either that, or she floods everywhere and ends up doing a slip-and-slide...

Well, I actually don't think anything, it's more like I've been dying to tell everyone that I've always wondered that as well and thank goodness I'm not the only one..

I guess Ms. Meyer just won't mention about Bella's time of the month just in case there's actually no solution.. unless in Breaking Dawn....... xd

Ms. Meyer answered this question actually, not in the books, but still. It's essentially "dead blood", thus has less of an affect on them than if it was actually flowing from her veins. They also may go hunting around that time, just to be away for a bit during the heaviest flow. Meyer didn't say that last part... but it would make sense to me.

Tastic, it's an awkward subject to write about, especially in a YA novel. Keep that in mind.
