Who: Remus and Sab
--any of Remus' progeny/family is welcome but Dragain & I will not be waiting days for everyone to post. So feel free to join, just know we might skip you instead of waiting for your 'turn' to keep this RP going! *hugs* Thanks for understanding!
What: grandkit! heart
Where: Remus' Library
When: late afternoon, early evening. Sometime between teatime & supper. Early November.
Why: because you can never have enough family RP!
Odd, how one room that had once only been his retreat had turned into that of his whole family. His family. It never ceased to fill Remus John Lupin that he -a werewolf- not only had wonderful, wonderful friends and a second 'family' in his housemates that loved and cared for him but he also had a beautiful, loving mate with whom he had 10 wonderful kits and now... 7 precious grandkits.
It made him feel both immense and very, very humbled.
The proud father and grandfather apparated into his sanctuary, the library he had created while still a young kitsusagi. It had changed only a little visibly in that time. Grown larger as more books and family were added. He did not see Liliana -once as much a fixture of this room as the furniture and books themselves. Probably with young Edward... Her father thought with a smile, both happy for his daughter and her mate and reminiscing those first times with his beloved Nari in her garden...
He wished all his children would be blessed to find the kind of love he had found with their mother. And now for the grandkits too, Remus wished that. Now... who else might be here today? Maybe if he was lucky one or more of his grandkits. He could never get enough of them, and sadly never came close either. The wizard sighed softly, setting his long black robes to fluttering. Beneath them near his shoulders a lump moved, seeming to be offering soft assurances and light rubs. Remus' little, hidden guardian.

(might as well post then) xD;
Not to far, resting in the same quiet sanctuary, lay Nahanni. With how tightly she curled, and her yellow ribbon decorating her waist, she appeared to be nothing more than a bundle of fluff. Pressed close to a corner and hidden behind a chair, the young witch slept as quiet as a mouse.
The weather had been getting cooler lately, enough so that Nahanni had to ditch her favorite location. The sunglass to the painter's room had grown chilly, and often fogged under Nahanni's breath when she rested on the rooftop. And so, she had taken to the next best place, the library. Somewhere familiar but still allowed her a private bubble. Tan paws clutched to her folded fan, like a comfort blanky even in the realms of sleep. Yes, she most adored her little bubble space. But she could only wonder how long it could stay so. Most her other siblings seemed to be getting pulled into...something. Point was, they were spending more time away; distracted.

"Xanul." The kitsu sighed, picking up her son by the scruff of the neck. Her turquoise eyes were stern and she shook him roughly, but just enough to get the message across. "You need to start practising your magic. I'm not saying stop your adventures entirely, but..." Unhappiness clouded her eyes and she put the teen down on the library floor, not even noticing her father.
"I know you're worried. I am too."
Xanul managed to give his mother a sheepish grin, acting like his over-energetic self. But Ayako was right. He was rather worried. And watching his mother grow upset over this made him feel worse. If only there was something else to make her feel better...
He cast his golden eyes around the library and grinned. "Granddaddy!" Oh joy! Too bad Swax and Xelon weren't here. The teen frowned. He would have to keep his promise and bring them together to see their granddad someday.
"Father." Ayako looked up, face slightly flushed. "Pardon me, I did not see you there.

"Dodododo..."
Saburou sung softly to himself, swinging his three tails to the rhythm. He had been told to visit his grandpa's house, since everyone else seem to be busy with one thing or the other. It was not his first time there, but he had never really explored the place, nor met grandpa in person... The most was a quick glance from a distance. He was told that there was a library in the house, a huge, magical one... And he had been told the directions to get there.
He walked into the library a while later, his scarf trailing on the ground behind him. His eyes scanned the room, and he slowly approached the place with the most people, including a male with a scarf that resembled his.
"Hi.... Hiya?" He blinked, tilting his head to a side.

Hm... Nahanni asleep. He would not rouse her. Good simply to know whe was here. Hopefully well. A smile hearing Ayako with Xanul -my he had grown- and he smiled before nodding. "I only just arrived, Ayako. Xanul. You know there are no apologies needed for being here." Stepping forward to nuzzle daughter and grandson.
Then there was a small kit-voice he did not recognize. Remus turned, taking in the kit's coloring and scarf. A warm smile spread across his features & chocolate banded tags swished in a gentle wag behind him. "Hello and welcome." Slowly the wizard lowered himself to the ground -more kit level- tossing a smile at Ayako & Xanul before centering on the new kit again. "You are one of my Vynnessia's & her mate Sesshoumaru's kits, are you not? It is a pleasure. Your Aunt Ayako and Cousin Xanul were just discussing magic training if I caught that right. We could have our own."
Two of his daughters and two grandkits. Remus was very happy indeed.

There was a grin on Xanul's face as he loped forward, hoping that the sight of his grandfather would stop his mother's lecturing...for now. As if he could read minds, Xanul returned his grandfather's nuzzle and loped around Remus ecstatically. "I'm bigger now, grandpa!" He proclaimed happily.
Ayako shot Xanul a stern glare; she would continue to prod him about that issue later. She returned the greeting with a nuzzle and a small smile. At her son's words, the edges of her mouth twitched. "And more mature now, I hope."
"Mommmyyyy..." Xanul began, wanting to prove that he was mature, but was interrupted by the new arrival. "Cousin!" Ears perked up happily and without thinking, Xanul pounced on the scarfed kit. "Helllooooo!"
"We were. "Ayako agreed, giving the kit a welcoming smile. She was pleased, very pleased that her sister had found a mate and was happy with. The winged kitsu tried not to think of her own predicament, and focused on her family instead.

Ears twitched as sounds reached the sleeping form. Who was that though? The voice was unfamiliar...even in this home of dozens of creatures. Eyes of murky hue peeked open, a struggle against the urge of sleep. Her tanned tail moved on its own, allowing her view of the rest of the room, just under the chair. Oh look, father and her sister, Ayako were here. The red haired girl stayed still, the only movement was that of her sleepy eyes. And who was that? Or...they? Two young kits. One had the same hair color as Ayako, and the other was as pale as pale can be and sporting a scarf. Oh...that one must be from Vynessia. Nahanni was aware that her elder sister was an adult now. But from the term 'mommy', now she knew her other sister was an adult as well.
Tails curled close once again, and her shoulders slumped. Her paws drew her fan closer to her ruff, and she decided to stay in her own space for the time being. If she was lucky, they may leave soon for the kitchen.

"Grandpa?" The kit tilted his head, frowning a little before breaking into a wide smile. His tails wagged slightly as he nodded, trying to keep his scarf on his shoulders as it was too huge, or rather, too long for his little body. It was evident from how dirty the edges were, from being dragged around by him whenever he walked. "Yes, they're my mummy and daddy!"
He would had specified, but even till now, he can't seem to say long names. 'Vynnessia' would end up as 'Vyn', and 'Sesshoumaru' often end up as 'Sess'. It caused quite an amount of embarrassment for him.
"Eep!" Saburou suddenly let out a cry that sounded very much like a squeak as he was brought to the floor by a pounce. He was used to playing tough, since his siblings all seemed to be 'braver' than he was, but still, being tackled by someone whom he had never seem, much less know, was too much to bear. The male pawed at the older cousin, and started to tear at the edges of his eyes.

He chuckled, nodding at Xanul being older... but perhaps not as mature as his mother would hope when moments later he pounced his cousin. Too quick for Remus to formulate more than a pleased grin at Saburou's affirmation of his conclusion. Accustomed to stopping MauCho & Liliana's 'spats' growing up the wizard steps in and gently nudges Xanul to leave his younger cousin for the time being, worried about the moisture in forming in Saburou's eyes. "Give him a little time before play, Xanul. This is is first time here."
Gently he smiled at the kit. "Do not be afraid." His eyes flicked to Ayako, smiling slightly. Grandkits that were cousins were certainly heartwarming & unpredictable.

Xanul squeaked, scrambling off his cousin, heeding his grandfather's advice. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" He hadn't meant to make him cry! Golden eyes watched the kit anxiously as his tails drooped down, tucked in between his legs.
The teen found it a little...surprising that the kit got emotional so easily. Swax and Xelon, even Mommy and Daddy, didn't mind him pouncing on them, except from a little distaste in Saix's case. Deep in his mind, Lune scoffed at the kit. Such a crybaby.
Ayako frowned down at her son. But she really couldn't blame him for being so playful, it was his nature. Giving an inward sigh as she noted the slight fear in the kit, she gave him a reassuring smile. "He's just being friendly."
Curt and short. As she always was.

A large black and gray kit followed his mother around the house. he had been here before but only briefly his mother had come to talk to grandfather quite a bit. But he had slept on the couch instead of seeing his grandfather. he paused and looked around getting a feel for the house. It felt warm and full of love. Hakyoku smiled and quickened his pace to keep up with his mother.
Vynnessia smiled at her son as he followed. Upon reaching the library door Vynnessia flicked it open with a wave of her wand and a Latin word. "Come on Hakyoku." she called waiting for him to leap inside. Vyn followed after and closed the door quietly. It seemed there was already sort of a ruckus....
Saburou. She noticed her son right away and her two sisters, her father then Ayako's son Xanul. Vynnessia smiled "Hello" she called to her family.
"Saburou come here." Vynnessia called to her son.
Hakyoku looked around the library filled with books. His mother loved to read she told him so many times. The scale of this library was it seemed surreal to him, then many relatives. The shy one had to be Aunt Nahanni, The one with her son here must have been Aunt Ayako and his cousin. Then there was Grandfather. Hakyoku continued looking around and saw his brother. Saburou what was he doing here alone?

"It's okay... I know. It's just that I... I..." The younger kit stuttered, giving an embarrassed smile as he crawled to his feet. He really should try to control his own emotions... This was definitely not a good way to give a first impression to one's extended family. Tilting his head at his cousin, the male paused before finally asking, his voice soft but loud enough to be heard, "What's your name? I'm Sabu... Sabu... Rou. Saburou!"
"Mummy! What are you doing here?" Saburou cheered, tails wagging as he ran at full speed towards the familiar figure, scarf flying behind him. Old habits die hard, and there was no way he could get his sibling's bolder characters... Fine, maybe he would, one day... Soon... Sooner or later. The male gave his mother a loving nudge, before walking over to stand beside his brother.
"Hello, Hakyo!"
He was sure that his brother's name was longer... But what was that last syllable again?

A look of worry, then a soft smile at Xanul & Ayako meant to indicate that there was nothing wrong at all with the pouncing... just after a bit. Not so soon. "Of course he is. Nothing wrong with a friendly pounce, just the timing." In fact... Remus was sure that had Ginny's daughter Cedrella seen any of her self-appointed 'second cousins' show up she would have greeted them similarly. Which meant likely that she was out, or off somewhere with her sister Lily-Rose.
"Saburou, I am delighted to meet you at last."
"Ah Vynnessia! And you brought Hakyoku! How wonderful!" The proud father and grandfather wagged his tails while looking between daughters and grandsons with delight & joy in his dark eyes. He wanted to nuzzle them all at once and looked like he very well might try. Remus was however a little saddened when Saburou ran to his mother and out of his reach. It quickly passed in light of his happiness however. "You cannot know how happy it makes me to see all of you."

Xanul grinned at the kit, using a paw to pat his cousin lightly on the head. "Me? I'm Xanul!" He proclaimed happily, puffing out his chest. He barely noticed the newcomers, until they announced their presence. "Hullo Aunt Vynnessia!" He said cheerily.
"Hello Vyn." Ayako replied with a curt nod towards her sister and a smile. Another one of her kits, no doubt. She vaguely wondered where Swax and Xelon were.
